Thanks doondoon, I'll try your tool can recalculate mine.

Hey fisker, our calculator is as correct as you will ever get it http://www.diablofan...on-005-2272012/, unless you have a google super computer you will always have a flaw in the calculations due to blizzard i'll give you the reason...

The issue is normally due to the damage % buff on a weapon.

Lets look at an example of what the game is doing.

You find a weapon that has 5.123 damage, it has 7% enhanced damage.

    The game does this for us: 5.123 * 1.07 = 5.481610000000001
It then rounds this number for us to a whole number which in this case is going to be 5.

The 5 becomes the number visible to the user in game client, and as you can see at a decimal level the number is massively different and between the min/max damage values this number again increases in deviation even more so.

If you was then to take that number and divide it by 7% you would get: 5/1.07 = 4.672897196261682, which is completely wrong.

This is why many damage calculators out there can not be 100% accurate.

I hope this helps explains why, when you have a level 60 character values can be as massive as hundreds of dps different.

So as you can see, you will always have a flaw at least untill blizzard release the 'armory' feature to the web, or purhaps you want to delve into memory reading, but this is always a touchy subject and doesn't seem worth the time since that feature will be here soon.

Also it appears some tooltips in the game are bugged it would appear since they made the min max damage change to rings and possibly amulets also.

Hope this helped you, sorry if it didnt

    Thanks
