    Why would blizzard add linux support? Most games do not add native linux support, anyways. Linux isn't meant for gaming and you must accept that. Linux is more towards information and ... crap. People who own linux generally know how to pirate games, and often do so. Why would a company invest money into making their games easier to get stolen off the internet, resulting in a loss of income?

    I agree with Micah, on watching the dev panels, as they explained a LOT about the whole "cartoony" debate thing. Realism isn't really on their mind, right now. They want a fantasy game where you can blow up stuff, because as they've said: Monster + explosion = awesome (ted nugent?)

    If you watched the dev panel, you'd realised how they went into full detail on why they chose Idealism over realism.

    Yeah i don't understand why they settled upon this one, BUT it was their choice and blizzard devs roxzorz, so they know what they are doing. Most of us havent gone to college for 6 years studying video game color schemes :P

    please note: All he has done is de-saturate the image and ADDED GRAIN, lowering the quality of the picture and the game.

    so in his mind - lower brightness, take out color, and make the game look like shit = how a brand new game from blizzard should look

    I'm pretty sure it is legal to download a ISO of the lod disk, so long as you legally bought it before and have a legit cd key that came with the game. If not, don't even try it.

    I could pm you the details on how to get an ISO going, but you have to be a bit savvy with computers. and i won't send any information without an OK from a mod or admin.

    but then again, people could view this illegal, so, i don't want to start a flame war.

    Just buy the lod cd :)

    They had lightning enhanced weapon for barb and it looked BAD ASS.


    If anyone of you listened to dev panel last night / this morning you would have realized why it looks like this

    Ill sum it up for you

    He said "not to be afraid of color" it adds accent and gets your attention if put in certain spots

    Idealism over realism - he was talking about how people say that's the cartoony look, but in fact its a lot less boring than if it was real. This is a fantasy universe, you don't want it to be like real life.
