posted a message on Why the proposed changes for 1.0.3 are unlikely to change the optimal Wizard build strategy of low defense + force armor
This is a good topic. Have you posted it on battlenet?

I want to add one thing: in "design concept" Blizz states that they want to encourage different builds to be playable and viable, but I can't see how any of intended changes will do that for a wizard. FA will still be the one and only most viable skill for a wizard and you got no options to change it with something whatsoever.

posted a message on Wizards and Vitality
    Hey folks!

I've been looking on these forums for quite a while and mentioned ppl are using quite some vit on the gear for inferno as wizards.

So I want to share my vision of wizard and vitality stuff.

My idea is pretty simple: you need as low vit as possible and as high armor\res\life regen as possible.

I've been playing wizard since release and right now I believe that my gear is more or less decent. What I experience in act 3 is two simple options: get one shotted or get three shotted.

It is all about Force armour. I belive it is so far the most viable wizard skill even after the nerf. I tried different armours, but their effectiveness is so much lower it is not even funny.

So back to idea. I got around 8500 armour buffed and 600+ all rez. Most hits on me are still capped with FA. I got around 19k HP and 2k\sec life regen. what I'm saying is why use like 35-50k HP when you will still take most hits at 35% of your health with FA, but the more HP you got the longer it will take to regen your health so you can take next hit?

I belive that HP should be as low as possible while you can avoid get oneshotted and regen should be as high as possible to be able to get hitted more frequently.

So why stack vit at all?
