So I have both of these while running a pet build, simple question: is using the dog with those two a lot weaker vs using the zombie dog skill? It would be the poison dog id use. I'm not sure if that rune makes a huge difference. Without using the zombie dog skill I use pharanado which is nice to have.
So I run a magic missile/wave of force/familiar build (both with the fire runes) along with a few passive skills that buff to elemental dmg. My question is when I have a few items with + fire, + wave of force, + magic missile, and + familiar dmg Is getting an item with let's say between 1-10% more "dmg" when comparing items an upgrade? Since the spell/elemental dmg buffs from items aren't calculated in. I'm just not sure how to really tell upgrades or not, most of my spell and elemental pieces are between 10-15%
