posted a message on Blacksmith STILL worthless
Although Blizzard had reduced the mats and cost to craft items through Blacksmith it is still not to the degree where it makes Blacksmithing even remotely viable, I mean to spend 30,000 to craft a level 60 item gear compared to the auction house. It is still pointless to make any items through Blacksmithing.

The cost to craft gear once again needs to be dramatically reduced.

well you can't predict auctionhouse prices before the game... :) they will fix it.
i think some craftable legendaries / sets will be quite important somewhere in the future :) we will see!

This is true, but the price needed to craft vs the randomness of crafted gear could have been foreseen. Even if the auction house hadn't been there, the amount the Blacksmith is asking to craft gear would still be insane for most of the time the gear wouldn't even be relevant because of the randomization.

I would not pay 100,000 5 times plus the mats to finally craft a piece of gear that would relate to my class and actually be an upgrade.

I've looked into Blizzard's post.. I only see them saying they will fix the cost to level the Blacksmith, not the actual cost to craft gear, especially at max level, so it'll still be pointless to craft after the patch?

posted a message on Blacksmith Near Worthless?
I got my Blacksmith to level 10 and a few recipes now, and I feel as if I will nearly never use him just because gear I can make are of course +4 Magic Props, and cost something like 40k-100k plus mats to make... while I could get the same piece of gear on the AH for half of what it costs to make with the exact stats I need. The part that makes him near worthless if the amount of money it costs to make any high level item which most of the time comes out shitty.

Anyone else feel as if the Blacksmith is worthless now (other than Staff of Herding)?

What is the point of Feat of Strength achievements... if when you view someone's achievements, you can't even see their Feat of Strengths. Kinda of stupid if it's just there for just me to see..

posted a message on Gems, Am I the only one?
Am I the only one that is sad about Gems, I know it will never be as diverse and specific as Diablo 2's gems but they are a little too.. basic, even more basic than the gems in World of Warcraft. Don't get me wrong, it would be awesome for say a Barb to stack all Vitality on his socketed gear, but as a Wizard.. sockets and gems don't truly give me on option, unless it is my helm or weapon I say hello to an Intelligence Gem, not really anyway to customize my layout that much.

Hello?! This is PC game where hack, exploit, bug. etc are exist!

Solo = nobody watched what are you doing in game.

Unless you fucking streaming it or made full video of you killing the diablo legit then i will believe you.

You're right since Blizzard hot fixed Athene when he was manipulating the game's mechanics, while they just decided to let his guy go and have fun with whatever he was doing that isn't legit.

With a game that has no 'World First' Achievements, for all we know every single boss in Inferno could have indeed been beaten BEFORE Method has killed them, just because some people don't like to get all this publicity and attention while they are racing for first doesn't mean it isn't real.

But by all means go ahead and praise Method more, it's not like it matters, they aren't even putting much emphasis on who got World First anymore, since it cannot be truely confirmed nor denied by anyone except Blizzard (if they ever announce it).

It's not the world first, so I hear.

    Sorry, I don't trust rumors.

Edit: Don't forget this is 4 man / co-op which is harder than solo.

Don't trust rumors??? Really? The actual guy posted pictures and others have confirmed it AND Diablo Fans acknowledges his WORLD FIRST and NOT Method's. Get over yourself, Method did indeed not get world first, they DID get world 4man First, however not Diablo Inferno World First.

Now im not saying that their achievement for doing it with 4 people doesnt mean anything because it does, 4man Diablo would be harder than Solo but the fact stands that he was soloed for World First. Though Congrats to Method for Diablo 4man World First
