My GF is playing a Wizard and I'm looking to create a new character to play with her, but I'm torn between a Demon Hunter and a Barbarian.
Of the DH and Barb, which class would have a good synergy with the Wizard? The barb would be good for the wizard's slows and CC, but the DH would be a great ranged companion. My only hesitation with the barbarian is I already have a melee character (monk).
So does anyone have any insight on which of the two classes would be best with a Wizard partner?
2H = Stronger, but slower attacks
Dual Wield = Weaker, but faster attacks
If you like the idea of playing in a way that builds lots of spirit to unload your abilities faster, then go dual wielding
If you like the idea of playing a monk with a staff that hits harder, then use a Daibo (My preferred style, the concept is just cool to me, and the Bo Staff is the weapon I trained in Martial Arts, so I'm partial)
If you play based on "what's better" and not "how do I want to play," then you just need to adjust according to whatever weapons you have available to you. You want to look at damage on the weapons, not the DPS. But to be honest, in Normal ... it doesn't matter.
Would anybody know of an affordable laptop (I'm talking lower than $600-700) that would be able to play Diablo 3 efficiently? I understand this is a long shot, but I figured there were people with more smarts than I in the laptop hardware department who might be able to point me in the right direction.
