I don't generally use the chats but DivineZero is right, I know for sure at least general chat is capped at 100 then it starts a new one. Not sure if others are too.
Are you saying instead of having the entire server in GC (assuming everyone opted in), you only get 100 random people? And your friend may get another set of 100 random peaople, without you in it? If this is true then it has to be one of the most idiotic software design decisions I've seen in a while.

Increase attack speed only works on the weapon it is on, as this is now on your boots.. it does nothing. Make a ticket and your item will be fixed :). Attack speed increased is the stat that works globally on everything.
I somehow seem to prefer Bola Shot with volatile explosions rune for the moment.. It's not as strong as hungering but I like the playstyle.. For damage vs trash packs I mostly use the chakram that circles out on impact instead of nether tentacles.. I use nether tentacle spam on mobs with a bigger hit box for more efficient damage distribution. I am considering using entangling shot with chain gang now I'm halfway through act 2 on inferno (Might even change to hungering arrow with devouring rune, not sure yet).
I feel it's a pretty viable build (25K health and 60K dps atm), ofcourse other builds are probably way better.. but this fits my play style.

If you really want to use an unleveled gem of ease.. you can get a socket in a weapon from level 15.. craft a lecel 15 one and reroll into a socket
