posted a message on How is MF/GF on legacy gear treated in new patch 2.0.1?
Legacy items are changed. They get 10% of their original stat.

"MF no longer on items. Legacy MF is reduced to 10% of full stat."

posted a message on blizzard a big disappoinment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posts like these are not constructive or helpful in any way. And are not based on the facts present. All the arguments you presented (very poorly, TBH) are the exact opposite of whats actually happening. Loot 2.0 is a vast improvement to what we have in Vanilla D3. The numbers we are seeing on The PTR prove that. The different and unique stats and bonuses encourage different play styles and builds. They bring an actual fun atmosphere to gearing your champion. Build diversity is greatly improved. I am playing builds on my Barb and DH I would NEVER try on live. Monster complexity is much improved. For the first time in a long time, I am actually using strategy on Boss encounters. And even when I die repeatedly, I am having fun. And I find the others in my groups seem to assert the same thing. One group last night pulled two rare groups at once and we had Orbiters,Thunderstorms, Arcane beams, plague pools, and molten pools EVERYWHERE! It was friggin hilarious! We were all running our A**es off trying to avoid everything. We died at least 6 times and we were all laughing our A**es off after in chat. The Op is more then entitled to his/her opinions. But if you are going to come here and bash and hate, then at the very least present a logical, fact based argument. Otherwise, most people here are going to label you as a Troll. And not take you seriously.

posted a message on RoS numbers too big
Sorry, but people who complain about number inflation in D3 are just nit pickers who want something to complain about. What does it matter if you hit for 300 or 3,000,000? The numbers go by to quickly to really tell what you are doing. You cant run damage meters, and Min/maxing is nearly pointless due to this. Your paper doll numbers and tooltips are more then enough to tell if you are doing more damage. And lets be honest, if you cant tell your killing monsters quicker, numbers are the least of your problems.

posted a message on Will this Spec's Handle D3?

I'm not much of an Intel guy, so I dont have any advice there. (Though I hear the I5 is a very good cpu).

As for GPU, go with the HD 5670 over the 720m. Slightly better performance.

I, for one, am excited, no matter how the game changes, the good players will find a way to advance regardless how it will change. To me it looks a hell of a lot more fun and challenging from the outset.

    Well said!

There are some Pro's you forgot.

    1)Crusader class.
    2)New Act.
    3)Mystic.
    4) Not just new Legendaries, but ones that don't SUCK!

As for your cons, I agree with you on some.

    Crafting:
Though crafting is getting some revamp, there needs to be more to make it interesting. I agree crafted gear needs to be more meaningful, but not to the point that it competes with Legendaries/set items.

The Blacksmith: I would like to see the BS crafted gear to be a very viable source of leveling gear. Then, to make him viable at 70, give him the new ability to add sockets (with a LARGE mat/gold cost).

The Jewelrcrafter: I am actually okay with no new gems. From the Dev team POV, its one less thing to balance around. So, with Covetous Shen, I would like to see Jewels. Take a certain level of Gem, combine with heavy mat and gold cost, and get a Jewel that has the original gems properties, and 2-3 additional secondary properties. And make them interesting. (A ring of fire casts when hit, Summon the Cow King to fight for you for 20 secs.)

I agree we need more info on the new mechanics. But, we may not get that till right before Beta. :(

Also, MF as I understood it will still be around, but not in great amounts. The idea is that Para points will be used to fill in. And they dont want everyone running around with a MF gear set.

Do people have as much of a problem with just the top tier (ilvl73) legendaries being account bound but also significantly more rare (i.e. sorta prestige items)? I agree if they are actually making them all soulbound they are going too far, but that would be a kinda bizarre step for them to take IMO.

I think the OP's solution is a too contrived and doesn't really fit into the framework of the game. I doubt they'd add an in-game trading post, since it basically introduces the same problems that the AH had.

I'm kinda in the middle. I'm a fan of trades. I'm ardently opposed to 3rd party transactions and would love to see them shut down and suffer. I'm not actually a big fan of the idea of this OP, nor do I think anything like that would ever be considered. However, people should be able to trade items in some fashion.

I'm more leaning toward a Clan trade system.

Where membership to a Clan is limited to a small, reasonable number. All items are time-stamped. All members of a Clan are time-stamped (showing join date).

You can only trade items with fellow clan members that were on roster before the time-stamp of the item in question. If the Clan size was, say....50 people or less and there was a 24-48 hour time limit (for example only), than there wouldn't be any room for exploit.

Something like that would be a good middle ground.

Why not the same but with your friends-list?

Whats to keep you from adding 5000 friends just to open a trade business?
