posted a message on Wauw is this the prettiest LS fury ever?
they already posted this for you in your link, but anyway...

    Only trade in game.
    • Do not take cash (people can put in a fraud charge on PayPal, get there money back and you're screwed)
    • Do not take forum gold. Someone will gladly ruin their D2jsp reputation to make the real money they can get from flipping that themselves.
    • Do not drop it on the ground.
    • Do not trade it by dragging it to the trade window, only right click to add it to the window (you might miss the trade window and drop it on the ground).
    • Say you sell it for 100 billion (pinkie to lip) gold, have them input the number as 100111222333 or 100111000111 so you can easily count each group of digits. Much easier to see this is 100 billion than 100000000000.
    • Have the buyer select "accept" first, double and triple check the price is as agreed and then click accept.
    • Enjoy your small fortune in D3 or cash it out for Radiant Star Emeralds on the RMAH for quick cash.

Yes, I am aware that building your own is cheaper. However, I couldn't even begin to know what to buy, what goes with what, can't use this with that etc. plus you would have to get warranties on all parts instead of one machine.

I had never heard of Origin before and was just wanting some opinions on them. They are a bit pricey.

Thanks for the replies though, much appreciated. I didn't know that newegg sold pre-built.

I am hoping my card holds out till after June, friend told me haswell comes out then and that I could get something better if I wait.
well, i'm not form USA, so i'm not sure, but around here what i do is i look the prices in differents stoers for parts, pick one, go there and tell them what im loocking to do, they help me out with the "this piece wont work with this one, how about this other one" and for a little extra money they put the whole thing together for me

i think its in the oasis in act 2... never found him though

i'm sick of people saying "take the ah away" for fuck sake, go play diablo 2 a month, even when you had something good to trade, it could take fucking days to find someone to trade joining trade games or spaming the channels. the ah solves a lot of shit that fucking sucked in d2, take the fucking nostalgia googles off for fuck sake

And added other problems. That's what we're discussing. Personally, I think that it added more problems than the ones it solved.
You need hurdles when it comes to trading, otherwise it becomes easier to trade than it is to farm, completely changing the priorities.
but if you dont like the ah, you can ignore it, you just get the same dificult time you had in d2 to trade or buy items, and yes, now you could make more money trading and reselling than farming, dont see the problem there, its pretty much real economy, the butcher will make more money that the guy who sold him the cow, etc. i don't think of that as a problem really

really? a sample size of 275 is significant? you sir, should go to a stadistic class

Actually, he could come back next month with 5000 unsuccessful crafts and it would still be a tiny amount. How much bad luck does a player need before we agree tant an RNG (in general) system is not fun/fair ? Is it ok for some players to have bad luck as long as others are happy with their RNG ? Just saying RNG is RNG is not enough to justify a player's frustration, you (actually not you, but the developpers) have to demonstrate (internally, they don't have to show us) that the RNG system is fair and fun for ALL the players.
my point exactly, if he wants anykind of significal data i would like to something closer to 5.000.000 (5m), even that wouldn't be such a big sample for all the RNG used here

    Hmmm...

Got shoulders better than both can build VIle Wards I had for my WD/Monk. Rolled considerably better bracers than the can build Lacuni and even put a set of Innas Pants on my WD to cover move speed and still come out ahead.

23 million gold and you havent got a thing. Sorry but thats not a whole lot of gold and Im far from rich. As for that price of the gloves on the AH. You do realize that glove was 10 mil because crafting tanked the market on gloves.

Illusion...nope very possible and still cheaper than buying on the AH..imho of course.

This is the type of mentality that propagates the myth. A sack of lies about how awesome crafting is because you got these amazing items without even trying... Assuming this was even true, then you just got lucky.

You always see threads about the awesome gear some people get, but you never see the threads about the amazingly shitty gear people get.

I made 275 gloves, and like maybe 5 were even a slight upgrade over the ones I currently use. The vast majority were like 20k+ dps loss.

So other peoples anecdotal evidence are lies.

But your anecdotal evidence is proof that the system is broke.

    Please stop posting.

I think my sample size was sufficiently large enough to make my evidence anything but anecdotal sir. Also as I pointed out before, an item from the AH can be sold back on the AH recuperating almost all cost. Even if you bought a 2B pair of gloves...

Crafting is a waste of gold and time.

posted a message on Same difficulty for A1 thru A4 in 1.05?
    No difficulty change.
And no drop rates change UNLESS you activate Monster Power (lvl 1 minimun)
If you have MP 1 (or more) then all monsters will be lvl 63 (with no MP, act 3 and act 4 monsters are lvl 63, that is why you will get the same drop rates that you have in act 3 and act 4 right now)
MP makes the difficult higher, bit relative to the act, since it buff the monsters of the act, so, yeah, act 1 MP 1 (or more) should be easier than act 3 MP 1 (or more), and you have the same drop rates everywhere as long as MP is at least 1
    Hope this helps you

posted a message on Why can't we go From 1 act to another?
    Quote from Nodnarb

I agree with everyone here for the most part, but still kinda looking for a more concrete answer about why it is that you cant go from act to act. Is it because the shitty servers we play on wont allow it or what? Is it a playing issue or a hardware issue?
No, it's simple really, it's because the way the game is. You can't not play the story, you are always in story mode, so, you can't jump around to others acts, because it would destroy the continuity, since if you could, you could kill diablo before killing the skeleton king

    2/10

Sigh, what a waste of time over some hyped chick flick.

    Plothole galore, american kliche ripoff.

Go see Battle Royale if you want a movie that touches you, see hunger games if you want to waste 2 hours on another crappy Twillight wave.
do not agree at all, read the books of both, battle royal movie sucked for my taste, even the manga was better
and please stop comparing the 2, the only thing they really have in common is the whole "fight to the dead kids"
and you know what? romans invented that shit, just not with kids (i think)

Edit: Tropic Thunder (saw it again) 8/10, good comedy right there, and some acting, you don't always get those two together
