also, that skill tree is not a good thing. way too much skills, most people won't read everything, so you are just overcomplicating the game, you don't need that many skills to have diversity, look at ragnarok online, the wizzard, a loooot of diversity there, but not a thousand skills
yeah, i've seen people who has gotten the exact same legendary drop only minutes from one another, and there was the whole thing about "duped" bows in the ah, i'm thinking maybe those were not dupes, just this bug... not sure though. But i do thing this is happening often and i do think it's some kind of bug
Mantra of retribution is very powerfull , very underrated but very very powerfull.
The key to using it effeciently is to DIE while you hit the button , with as MANY mobs as you can around you .
There are 2 runes you can use with this that make it very viable , as long as you have drunk a bit from the bottle called L2P.
Mantra of retribution - Retaliation.
This is generally the one you will use if your farming small groups (bit squishy still etc) , The 80% dmg reflected is really nice if you stack VIT instead of All resistance, Remember the more dmg you TAKE the more dmg gets reflected. 80% dmg reflect = 30k dps to the mob attacking you easy.
However the Mantra of Retribution - Collateral Damage is most likely my favorite. Combine this with Fists of thunder (chain lightning rune) and you can do some sick sick sick dmg to mobs around you.
The goal for this rune / mantra combo is just to run around , get as many mobs on you as you can , pop Serenity , blow cd's (if you got explosive palm use that) and moment serenity runs out hit Mantra of Retribution , you might die you might survive but either way EVERYTHING around you is dead, be it 10 mobs , be it 50 mobs. i took out 3-5 elite packs with it at once in act I on inferno.
Good to know, but i wonder if it's really worth it considering the repair costs per run, and that no everyone has that much money to spare.
I actually like both, but i tend to use FoT a lot more with the Thunderclap rune. When i use WotHF i use the Blazing fists rune. The reason i personally user FoT is a mobility issue. WotHF also has a rune for that, but i like Blazing rune better, so when i do use it, i use it with that, better dps and the AoE is always good.
Ok, so I'm close to being a level 60 Monk and I'm wondering what the best armor set would be for it. I want a set that gives really good DEX and VIT so I can still do powerful attacks and have a good amount of life so I wont die, also what would be the best weapon combo to us? I prefer to dual wield daggers and I have 2 daggers right now that have 70 DPS and give me 70+ DEX and I think 30+ VIT also they each have a socket in which I put a ruby (I think it was a ruby) that gives me +14 damage. So is their anything for a level 60 Monk like this?
IF you are not trolling, you should check items for 60 in the AH, the stats you said just suck, and they suck for 59 too
