I think the majority of changes are heading in the right direction. Maybe not the path I would have chosen, but the end destination is starting to get some sparkle on it.
I don't really get the upset in this thread. Someone killed bosses and had fun doing it, and decided to share. I didn't see anything that said 'this is the only way to play Diablo 3 and if you do anything different you're a loser.' Just because someone kills something or doesn't kill something does not in any way invalidate your . . .err. . .accomplishments. That is why there's anger, right? Because you feel like your own efforts have been in some way tarnished? They haven't. And yeah, this is coming from someone who is taking their sweet ass time with the game. You say they're going too fast in inferno? I haven't even reached hell yet. Just taking my time enjoying the game my way. And yeah, just because he posted his kills doesn't mean I'm going to follow it at all. I have my own thing and I'll adjust as necessary. Just like you guys are and will.

Took me 40 minutes of constantly trying, but I got in last night! Toodled around for five minutes. None of my friends were in, so I logged back out and went to bed. Felt like a traitor sitting in game when none of them could get in (one of them is still having install issues), or weren't bothering to. Ah well though, felt good man!
I had to order CE from WalMart due to not realizing I could order it as soon as it was announced. I wound up ordering it when CE details were confirmed around March or April-ish, I think. So uh, I'll be playing the normal game off my Annual Pass until I can upgrade once my CE arrives. . .

I've kept myself in near blackout mode since I found out about D3. I got beta access fairly early but didn't touch it until my boyfriend went all crazy "OMG LET ME PLAYYY" on me. Somehow I'm not clicking any spoiler tags (I tend to spoiler myself often), and I hope it will pay off for me. Here's to a pristine normal playthrough, all of you other non-spoilered nerds!
I absolutely adored the templar in beta. For normal I think I'll just pick whichever follower I like best, but for the record my nerd senses are pointing towards the templar, since it is voiced by Malcolm from Enterprise.
