Let's see, I saw it on the website, the Breaking News section before I logged into the game this morning (yes, it was there), and on their Twitter feed. If I followed them on Facebook I probably could have found it there, and then as someone else mentioned a quick Google search also yields the info. Not to mention the fact that Tuesday has been Blizzard's maintenance day for years now.

It's at the point now that you have to go out of your way NOT to know maintenance is going to happen.

1.) I haven't played a Blizzard game that had maintenance, ever. This routine has been two months long for me.

2.) You just admitted "breaking news" can include the schedule, so why not in the launcher or login screen?

4.) The way the Diablo III is an icon on my desktop. All of those are out of it. I do not wake up every day thinking "I should check on tomorrow's Diablo availability!" I wake up thinking "I might play some Diablo today!".

There is a pretty serious lack of critical thinking skills and some pretty hardcore fanboy drama going on here. It seems to me the best place to post a maintenance schedule would be on the launcher.

Out of curiosity what blizzard games have you played?

    D1? SC1? WC2/3?

Why do people still bitch about server maintenance?

Don't people have jobs?lives?do you sleep?kids maybe? For fucks sake it's one "half day" where you don't get play a month maybe? Calm down already.

The people getting hurt the most by random unscheduled maintenances are the people who can't play all day. If you have put aside time to play at a certain time, and the servers are down, you might have lost your entire Diablo 3 playing for that week.

First off maintenance is mostly likely always on Tuesday morning. Secondly most average people who have jobs and lives work during these hours. Point being?

If you are so butt hurt about 1 day of maintenance go play another game.

You missed the words "Random" and "Unscheduled". That was quite a big part of the point.

Yeah the random quotes on there site and twitter telling us it would be down on a day that is always the maintenance day is random.

    Whut?

You say your not mad about how they don't post it in front of your face yet you feel the need to create a topic on it, on a diablo "fan site".

If you want something changed go to the blizzard site and post, but more then likely due to your posting I'm sure you are already banned on that website.

Btw, it tuesday, you should have expected it. Not anything new.

posted a message on DH need help with Inferno Ghom
Easiest, fastest, known possible way to do it with "ok" gear is this spec.

    Cluster Arrow/Cluster bombs
    Hungering Arrow/Dev Arrow
    Caltrops/Torturuos Ground
    Marked for Death/Mortal Enemy
    Bat companion
    Prep/Battle Scars

    For passives go as following
    Cull of the weak
    SS
    Archery

Idea behind this at least have 35k DPS+ without sharpshooter.

Pop bat companion, start fight, mark him with death. Run straight at him, go to left, place down 2 traps, nuke him with all hatred, move to left wall while stutter stepping to regain full hatred, then repeat the step before. Kite him using traps, while using your primary nuke(cluster bomb). Kite him counter clock wise hugging the wall, laying down traps as you go.

IMPORTANT - Never let marked for death drop, and always have traps down for his path of travel.

The traps will easily kill the adds, as well as dmg the boss, and keep him slowed. Cluster bombs, while you might need some practice at first using them, drop his health a SHIT TON.

You can kill him easily within 30 secs to a minute using this spec.

Note: I did not use shadow power or smoke screen. The idea behind the build is kill him before you run out of room because of gas. Thats why I used battle scares for prep, it gives you an "o shit button" when your health is low.

It doesn't hurt to get an amulet with like 300+ life on hit either.

If you have any questions PM me on here or in game ixir#1276

PS this spec also kills the second boss in Act 4 inferno in like 15 secs.

Whoa, we have a badass over here. Keep badmouthing me over internet tough boy and see how much I care. 155%wd over line of a melassa moving projectile with small hitbox is bad, Overpenetration with Impale does 250% and it's instant. <stopped reading, I was losing braincells too fast to dare read more>

Okay.... So besides being WRONG you're obviously not capable of understanding simple math.

First, elemental arrow, 10 hatred, 155% weapon damage, full pierce without rune.

Second, impale, 25 hatred, 250% weapon damage, needs run for pierce.

Third, simple math, for the same 25 hatred your impale is doing 250% weapon damage for you get 2.5 elemental arrows equalling 387.5 weapon damage. Elemental arrow gives you more damage for your hatred on a point per point comparison. Elemental arrow has a wider hit column on its pierce than Impale. And if you don't care about the 3% lifesteal from nether tentacle you can still use Lightning bolts for the stun on crit and an attack almost as fast (or just as fast) moving as your impale. And, using elemental arrow, if you run up against reflect damage mobs you can do less damage if you want to by shooting one EA at a time for 155% weapon damage where impale is always the 250% each.

Your math is also flawed, your not factoring in crit dmg.

    /facepalm

Cluster arrows, loaded for bear. I'll take that any day over nether tent spam.

I love my new build. Thanks!

Why your in here bitching doesn't make sense though. Your complaining about complaining. Just keep it to yourself.

I will be trying out the "immortal DH" spec soon, even though I refuse to call it that.

Once I can afford it that is :)

I prefer really big crits and slow shots. But that's just me.

Some people like to use the "pee shooter spec" as I call it. Really fast but doesn't hurt much.
