I'm gonna play around with it, at 60+% crit and 550+% CD I don't anticipate changing my Manticore's Emeralds into Rubies. I like sentries and I use a bat so it's worth checking into. At least now it's worth even considering vs. just "Nope".

Blizz should require an authenticator- you playing some of the most popular games ever made (talking about the catalog) and are a focus of the hackers' and their massive logon programs.

Selling more would drive down the price a bit as well. I know this has been discussed at Blizz many times they just need to do it with the next SC launch.

posted a message on Good DH Gear?
Looks pretty good. The Manticore is on the low (DPS) side but has 2 sockets and some Dex. I hate Andy's helm due to the fire damage you take but it's a personal choice and a financial one.

Use the spreadsheet linked below and see if a red gem (or 2) instead of a green might be higher dps. Can't see how much crit chance you have overall.

Take the time to populate the spreadsheet and gear selection will be much easier. Good luck!

When they make sentries and my bat immune from reflect (as they said they will) I'll be happier. Until then I'll deal with the game the way it is.

It's because they each cost gold to make. Gold is sold on the RMAH and they don't want a liable suit that someone spend all their gold accidentally clicking on one button. Unfortunately it's the idiots who would do that crap that ruin it for everyone else.

We could use a lot more Tort Reform in the US in other fields as well.

Well faithful, you're a 9/10 lol and i'm sure you've alrdy be rated but you obv. have good gear.

I was looking at if i should drop my legacy nats to build more dps/ar/life or if i should keep it.
For either option what should be my goals on next upgrades.

My rare left ring atm is going to be a hellfire eventually so ignore that piece.

I commend you, fellow LegNat, for sticking with legacy Nat's considering all the naysayers. Do you really need Prep with LegNat's 4 pc? I never found a situation where I needed more Disc and Bat will increase your hidden DPS (more Hatred).

Try and get your crit chance up and consider using Perfectionist over Tactical Advantage; it might help you address your lower life number. Try and find items with a bit more Vitality and you have pretty good All Resist. With permaGloom/Smoke Screen I don't focus on All Resist as much with LegNat.

I like Loaded for Bear over Impale since it adds some area damage. You already know about upgrading your Emeralds; good to see you put the best ones in your Manticore first.

I think my profile shows Engineering with Sentries and Spike Traps; it's my Ubers spec. I know I should increase my AllRes but with Gloom up all the time and just doing MP10 Ubers I don't feel pressure to- maybe PvP will. Working on leveling my Paragon is my next goal.

Wow, that's a lot of hatred-dependant talents you have! I'd consider having either Spike Traps or Sentry (def Sentry for ubers) and pick up Lingering Fog, 10% crit Caltrops, or Prep.

Good gear, looks to be on the right track.

I'm not dropping Legacy Nat's, at least not now. Yes, I'm leaving 40-50k on the table but the disc regen is something I've had since it was 0.48 Disc/sec. Tough to give up.

posted a message on Dual Wield or Crossbow?
Another point to consider: 20% bonus to attack speed (IAS) was left in the game by Blizzard on quivers exclusively. Additionally, you can get some decent bonuses on quivers to Hungering Arrow, Elemental Arrow, etc. and it's a good place to get a big chunk of Vitality (DML gives ~170-over 300).

Skills/talents using "Weapon Damage" are probably affected as well- I haven't done the math on those (the great Demon Hunter spreadsheet by Dretar does it for me! http://www.diablofan...dps-calculator/ ). Take a few minutes to populate the spreadsheet with all of your gear. Do the Absorption tab as well; great information on where you are "Living"-wise.

A dead Demon Hunter does 0 (zero) DPS. Once a tank gets a DH that can a) not die and B) do damage they invite you back.

I'm a big fan of the Manticore, especially the 2 socket ones. Can't go wrong with a Dead Man's Legacy quiver either.

I've seen a few dual wield DHs that have decent damage so it's really your preference.

Gloom works fine on uber Siege (using 2 sentries; with 3 it gets tougher). I have legacy Nat's, full disclosure.

posted a message on How to deal with reflect damage at mp6+?
    Quote from cw30000

I've a 150k barb with 5.8% leech and kill getting myself kill. Does anyone has any solution beside a 10% leech?

Try some Life on Hit gear (LoH). Pretty sure Life Steal (LS) still has a 80% nerf playing inferno MP. Buy a simple blue LoH piece to see what it does for you or specifically look at the Barb forums.

posted a message on Natalya's legacy set (solve this for god's sake)
If you have legacy Nat's with 120-160 Dex on all the pieces and a good Mark you will have less overall damage compared to the new set, no doubt about it.
I do disagree that having it will be a detriment as with higher MP comes longer fights, more kiting, etc. and the +2 bonus Disc regen is highly valuable to specs and playstyles that can take advantage of that. I've got 11% to spike traps/chest and 14% elem arrow/quiver and I put them to good use. PS SpikeTraps then SS is a great strat for reflect packs, especially Siegemaster with Kunne.

I'm farming in 7 and have been in 10 just to see what it's all about. It's tough but at 193k no SS, 44k health and 50%+ to resists and armor so it's doable. I'm looking for keys so they just get in my way for right now.

I enjoy the changes and look forward to bigger and better things! Thanks Blizz.

Doubtful on 1.0.5 showing up; with Diablo 3 they've been consistent in making us very aware of not only when the patch will drop but what exactly is in the patch.

I trust they won't break this welcome tradition so soon.
