Well, I've been married for going on 3 years, been together for 4. My wife was a gamer (she's pregnant and finishing her bachelors now) when I married her, and it was pretty easy. Now that she doesn't play as much as she used to, we just have times that we spend with each other. Generally when I get home from work and before we go to bed. Weekends here and there. You have to find time in between games and things you do to show her a little love, although it also depends on how needy she is. My wife likes her space as much as I like mine, and after my first deployment she is content with not having me up her arse 24/7.
How are you guys going to play D3 and still maintain good relationship with your wife? I just got married, and was thinking of buying another comp so as to let my wife join in *fingers crossed*
I'll do so many sordid things to her... ...have dinner with our hands, inappropriate conversations, walk on the beach under the moon-lit sky...if you know what I mean.
I concur, JaundiceBunny. Sudden thoughts of desecrating her 'holy temple' sound tempting, indeed...
No 1v1 dueling = exactly like WoW. But at least in WoW you can duel your friend anywhere outside of town. Disappointed.
You're very contradictive sir, there IS 1v1 dueling in wow..... and not in D3. i.e. No 1v1 dueling =/= exactly like WoW.
Oh, and the style of coming out and making comments about the state of PvP, but clearly having no idea of what is going to be offered in the future, what was once planned on being offered and not even whether or not there will be PvP gear does not speak well for your argument, just sayin'.
Not a troll, I actually preordered D3 waiting to collect on May 15th. Just don't want D3 to lose its age old recipe of goth and evil. If everything is so safe, ie removing all pvp aspects in campaign, then it will be a very different Diablo if you know what I mean. It will be more like Diablocraft.
1v1 dueling was like so goth.
When i say goth I was referring to the graphics. Didnt they use the same graphic engine as WoW? I see resemblance. It is not as goth as it use to. When I say evil, I was referring to the no where is safe aspect of the past 2 games.

D3 is all about collecting gear. Why would you collect gear if you can`t use it for anything else except for collecting more gear? If the game lacks PvP then most people will get bored quickly and just move to the next game. If blizzard says that it won`t be a balanced PvP environment then everybody has to accept it and play it like it is BUT that does not mean they can remove PvP completely and expect people to play more than the story mode few times.
I think the game needs at least 1v1 and open area free PvP. What do you guys think?
I don't see why they should allow duels in town :/ The Arena looks much more epic and should give you more reasons to win since it is specifically designed for duels. I won't miss town duels lol. I'm happy with playing the campaign in town and dueling in the Arena. Duels in town are not that special :/ The campaign maps will be for you and your friends to play together and have some fun passing the game and if you want to duel just go to the proper place. They even avoid the creation of campaign servers only for duels, it would be a waste of servers :/ The Arena will be like the official place for duels where everyone wil show their skills and play fair.
A quick question. Can you port your campaign character into arena? Is there any special weapons you need to purchase for pvp? In Wow there is resilence weapons.
no, you use your normal character and go to the arena, you only use the gear found in game, no pvp gear
So normal character as in the character you use in campaign? But there isn't a 1v1 arena right?

Isn't part of the crux of Diablo on consensual dueling in town? Why do they separate it into arena now like how WoW does it? Bring back the 1v1 dueling!
Haha ok that's me on the right with a friend. I am a logician, I do predicate/modal logic and love to dabble in theory math stats for diablo games. Cant wait for diablo 3 to come!!

Diablo 2 uniqueness was due in part to the hostile pvp system. "no area is safe" kinda feel.

I tried, but couldn't find any TT.
