posted a message on WW Barb - good gear but still getting owned act 3
You have better stats than I do and I do fine in Act 3. It's all about clever use of your skills. You need to make sure that you don't overuse WhirlWind as another poster already mentioned, and you can't be afraid to pop a CD when needed.

There are certain packs that are just going to give you issues no matter what you do. Even with insane gear, there are champ packs that can kill you, and it does happen.

I would try to ain for 2K LoH. This seems to be a sweet spot for most Barbs. Try and aim for LoH on BOTH weapons. I have 830 LoH on my main hand and 804 LoH on my offhand. This can help tremendously. LoH does not suffer from the inferno nerf like Life Steal does, so it's more beneficial. Keep that in mind.

Oh, I just love this comment...

"We all have had that moment where a sudden chill of disappointment fell over us after identifying an ilvl 63 rare."

Are you kidding me? That chill of disappointment remains CONSTANT. It's not just a moment. It's all the time! I have yet to find a decent ilvl63 item with over 400 hours played.

It's encrypted. The only problem is that they'll have to break the encryption code, which might be difficult if at all possible. But we can always hope :)

posted a message on [Official] Release Date Speculation Thread
People are assuming it's going to be the 19th. Here's why that's a bad idea. Marketing.

You don't announce something huge on the same day that you release a ton of information about a completely different title. That's bad marketing. You never want one game to overshadow the other. Have you ever seen Blizzard announce something for two titles on the exact same day?

The 19th is the NDA lift on the MoP press tour. That means that all the websites that have to do with gaming will begin to release information about MoP on that day. That's a massive marketing tactic by Blizzard. They would not want any other game to overshadow that information.

It's like saying "Hey, look at this game over here! Oh wait, look at this game right here!". That's a seriously bad move. If they announce a release date for D3, it will not be on the 19th.

The release date is not going to be in April. Sorry guys, I don't see Blizzard not allowing two months of head room for a release. They love those two months. It's going to be either May or June. I stick by my original thought which is May 16th 2012. Obviously this is a Wednesday, but I have my reasons.

I think you'd better learn how to speak in these videos. This video was just too "busy" for me to enjoy it. You don't want people to watch the same video over and over just to understand the point you are trying to present. That's a no no.

I would suggest you go over each spell one by one in a series of videos and explain them vocally. Don't be afraid to speak. Even though you might not enjoy the sound of your own voice, it's better than text. ALWAYS better than text.

I just can't enjoy a video that I find myself fast forwarding through. Sorry. Keep trying, though.

stop with those conspiracy theories already. and btw this has been posted before

You must have missed the part where I said not to take it seriously. And yes, I know it's been posted before. I'm the one who came up with the idea in the first place. Someone else must have posted it a week or so ago after I mentioned it to RHGaming.

Gee, I wonder who it was...

posted a message on Diablo 3 easter egg
Before I begin, I'd just like to point out that this is all in good fun and I hope that no one takes this seriously.

Ok, so I was tooling around on D3DB.com and was looking at an art contest that Blizzard put together for Diablo 3 fans.

In the description of this contest, they name some rules. Within the rules it states that the size of the artwork must exceed 1600x1200 resolution and must be no bigger than 5MB's.

    This got me thinking...

Now, again, don't take this seriously.

Blizzard likes to hide easter eggs in all of their games, and sometimes they even put release dates in the most odd places. People usually find no connection to a release date from a blue post until a date is actually announced. That being said, it's not above Blizzard to do this sort of thing. Heck, even Cataclysm's release date was in a blue post.

So let's examine the above rules to this contest. We could look at these numbers and make some asumptions. Again, this is the part you don't take seriously.

We could say that 5MB's could be the fifth month of the year. Meaning May.

We could also say that the 1600x1200 resolution means the following: 1600= the 16th and 1200= 2012

Now, if we take that specific date (May 16th 2012) we find that it's a Wednesday. It's not likely Blizzard will release a game on a Wednesday, but this is just for fun.

However, some things to note about this particular date are the following:

This is right in the middle of Q2. And, if Blizzard decides to announce a release date this week or next week, this gives them a little more than a two month head start, which is what they usually do.

I know most of you are laughing histerically at this foolish theory, but hey, it's all in good fun :)

    Cheers!
