I don't think I got it, I'm a very sad panda. (let's hope I'm wrong, and it just takes a while to send) If i could just play enough to know what class I'd really love to play, I'd be ecstatic. I guess they don't rate who they give the keys to anything of value. Oh, and to all of you who said it's boring, you hate Diablo and you're not invited.

    Quote from aldrek

Unique kill animations were never ever a planned "thing." It was a one-time special animation controlled by another dev through commands to make the Siegebreaker fight more awesome. Its purpose was that and only that. In fact, that whole fight, from the trees to the skeleton horde was unique in that it was just to make the game seem awesome to the people watching.

    Needless to say, it worked.

and also, who cares about kill animations? It seems as though people don't realize you have to DIE in order to experience them. To all of those out there who just love dieing, I'm sure the seigebreaker will still toss your bloody, lifeless corpse like a ragdoll upon your death, and since it will be cool, but not TOO cool to see, maybe it will convince you to not see that happen again.

Mystic: I believe they said they are rethinking the Mystic, clearly they have done a lot of developing to bring her to the point she was at pre-scrap, and don't want to get rid of her entirely. They haven't yet stated though whether she will return (in her renewed and more relevant form) in a later patch, or a new expansion.

posted a message on Monks for Hardcore
I think monks will make for an intense HC char, but I'm not sure if thats a good thing. Having dodge as their primary defense mechanism means that you'll experience damage bursts and luls against yourself; their fast movement speed and evasion/healing skills will really come into play at those inevitable times when you take a few big hits in a row. Warriors I think will make for a more laid-back HC char,(as if a laid-back HC char isn't a massive oxymoron) atleast in the sense that the damage you take should be easier to anticipate.

posted a message on My Non Gamer Wife's first experiences with Diablo
I am beyond stoked to hear more and more stories like this regarding gaming these days, because girls need to get in on the fun. The perfect combination of female characters who appear in video games but do NOT appeal to women and big brothers who horde their games and purposely exclude little sisters has left me living in a world where women can't see the fun waiting in it all.

Congrats to Blizzard for creating a game that is complex yet at the same time can introduce new gamers to an experience they've never had before.

posted a message on DiabloFans Calculator Build Contest (ONE POST ONLY)
This is dubbed my "Glass Cannon Frost" Wizard build, of course I have yet to play the game so I can't be too confident as to whether or not it will actually work.... but it's worth a try!

    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#bciQYW!YWX!bYYYca

The idea behind this build is to have nearly every ability slow/snare your enemies, and approach the world as an enemy-dodging ninja. You have almost no survivability to speak of, so keep the enemies at range, and rain down your array of increased-damage frost abilities. I think it would be best paired with a healing specialized Templar, so if you do take some damage, you can get back to full health quickly.

Frost immunes will likely ruin your day lol, but this game is about experimentation is it not?
