Unfortunately I'll be starting from scratch since the only game she's reaaly played is bejeweled lol. This will be painful at the start. I'll go "read the tooltips'' strategy.
Nice to hear. Wifey says she'll play with me but shes a non gamer and hasn't played anything like diablo before. Dunno if I wanna teach her though lol, don't have much patience but guess I'll try.
Dont know if anyone's asked this. Just putting it out there but when Blizzard give beta keys for websites etc to give out, do they tell them approximately when the game would be released so that players get enough time to play the beta before the game is sold?
I would be happy enough to get a key but dissapointed if I get to play for only 1 week before the game comes out.
Looking at known games releases there's mass effect 3, total war 2, Resident evil: Operation Raccoon City in march risen 2, Of Orcs and Men in April Game of Thrones, The Exiled Realm of Arborea, Max Payne 3in May Fallout MMO, Spec Ops , The Secret World MMO, Darksiders 2 in June
I said before end of June but from this to me April would be a good time to release, although there are still games out there yet to have release dates, you know which one.
There is no point in re-rolling, no need to keep low lvl uniques once ur high lvl. Low lvl uniques are there to help u through the games and diablo players love to search for better gears. I'm not staying around lower lvls to search for low lvl uniques. Move on
Might as well add my guess. 31st of June as this is the end of of the 2nd quarter business wise. Would have been earlier like end of March if not for the Rune changes. The fact that beta keys are still being handed out is concerning and still have to test the auction house.
Just have to restrict the types of runes you can get by lvl. Like between lvl 5-10 certain runes start dropping, then 15-20 the next set drops then lvl 25-30 the last set drops so maybe 2 different runes each time therefore 6 different runes by lvl 30 and this is max but will all be lvl 1's.
To get these to lvl 2 have a rune scroll (lvl 1-5) drop randomly which increases a rune by one lvl and this is restriced so that each rune can only be lvl'ed once after its been used and the next rune scroll lvl will drop at lvl 35, 40, 45, 50, 55. You will then have a chance to max out a rune at lvl 55. So you will still need Rune scroll lvl 2 to drop at lvl 35 to increase a lvl 1 rune to lvl 2.
I would also restrict the number of runes active at one time by lvl also. from 5-10 only 1 rune is allowed to be active, then at lvl 30 2 runes can be active, then lvl 50. That way the charcter won't be able to use all 6 runes unless they were in Hell mode or in expansion, but still give the user a choice and decent boost without being too OP.
I don't think this way u would over pack the inventory as once you used a rune u wont need it again for that character. Also have a Rune bag in the shared stash so all ur characters can use and runes can be sold for gold.
Vampire actually doesn't seem to be a bad idea, something new to Diablo but already seen in other games. Seems to go with the dark theme as the heavens have fallen so darker creatures appear. Maybe has the ability to shapeshift into bat or demon form and can work new mechamics into it, such as relying on souls for power.
The other one i did like from other posts was that archangel type like seraphim or fallen angel. More healer type and using shields and 1 hander's for survivability and holy powers which is like a paladin type as it seems this character type is logical to me for the storyline although Monk fulfills same purpose.
They might say new but could just be a druid renamed but relying on different sources of power for attacks and defense.
