If you are new to the Diablo series, I really think you guys should play AT LEAST D2 while you wait for D3. I really think it would enhance your knowledge about the game story-wise and gameplay-wise. I dont want haters to hate on D3 just because theyre new to the style of the game. Its probably gona be similar to D2. If you HATE (which is almost impossible) D2, please consider a second thought on getting D3 :/
I thought of that and downloaded D2 with LoDxPack... I could not play more than 15 minutes..It was boring, skills are lame looking and it is way to old..
I'm not trying to hate, I'm sure there are people who would appreciate it way more than me. However, I have played the beta for d3 and find it fun and exciting.. I actually enjoy playing it.. In my case, it is night and day...I feel d2 is terrible due to being outdated. I think its just the quality of games I am used to now along with graphics...
My 2nd game ever played (1st was counter strike 1.5)
Amaizing graphics that only got better. Content was pretty mediocre. However, it got better with endless expansions. This game was the #1 PvP game of all time. It was the real deal (still is). Classic Korean MMO, grind, grind, grind, grind to level up. If you hit some one you became "flagged" for x amount of seconds in which time you could get attacked. If you killed(PK) some one while they were not flagged, you would turn red and anyone could kill you. If you were killed while "red" you lost exp (which took endless hours of farming XP) and depending on how many "PK's" you had on ur record, the higher chances of dropping your armor.
In other words, fighting some one was a huge deal. To the point where 1 person would start a fight and all of a sudden you had clans showing up, trash talking, building up rage (since hitting anyone is SO critical due to being able to lose hours of farming/dropped equipment).
Before you would know it, adrenaline was super pumped and you had 500 people in one screen gettign ready to fight. BEST experience ever..
I sold my account for 1600$ USD @ lvl 52 only about 6-7 yrs ago.
The purpose of this thread is to have a place where any Diablo 3 related Tips, Hints and Advice can be found. All of this info in a random, non-specific, in its nature. Look at it as the 'spot' to go to, to find random fun facts all the way from hardware to the best way to use a skill in the game.
This will keep it fresh and exciting, always coming to find something new and random!

1.) "I heard theres a Max resolution on D3?" I don't think so! The game shows max res for w.e your setup can handle. Monitor/Video card!
