I use the blind instead of healing mantra and I do not use the spirit regen passives. I use sixth sense for added survivability and the other passive that boosts damage to blinded enemies. Spirit gen is not an issue for me as I make great use of epiphany and blind.
I keep decent uptime epiphany as well. It's not perfect but it's up when it counts.
I'm around paragon 700 and have unity on my solo progression builds. I seem to struggle as low as GR60 though. Even regular mobs just one shot me. That's with unity and the recommended passive skills. I know monk is more of a glass cannon which is why I lean toward Inna builds but I can't seem to figure out why these build guides say 100+ GR clears and I struggle with 60-70.
Should I just focus on getting all ancients and all augments? Then go for GR pushing?
So I picked up Diablo 3 again last week for Xbox one. I haven't played since vanilla back on the 360. It is remarkable to see the changes that have been made and how much more enjoyable the game is compared to what I remember it being.
I read up quick on all the changes. Watched a few videos. Got enough information to comfortably dive in and then figure the rest out on the fly.
I started a season monk. Finished my season set and made a working build. Kept farming and now I currently have a few good gear sets. Made a few different builds. One support for group GR, one for solo GR, one for farming, etc.
I have hit a brick wall on my solo GR progression. I currently have mostly all ancient gear and weapons. Level 50 gems. Tier 10 gems. 2 augments.
My gear is not perfectly optimized but it is by no means crap stats or optimization.
I can't seem to press over the level 70 GR bar though. I see so many others running the same build as me putting build guides saying they can hit 100+ GR.
What am I doing wrong? Fully optimize my gear? Full augments? Skill? Pylon strategizing? Hand picking elite packs?
I feel like with my current build and gear I should be able to easily push GR 70 to 80.
I have even tried different builds. I normally run an Inna LTK but I've tried Inna EP, Inna generator, Raiment duo gen, Sunwuko LTK. Nothing seems to work for me.
