DEMON HUNTER *League of Legends* Vayne BUILD

This build is designed to bring all the fun attributes and game mechanics of League of Legends’ favorite Night Hunter: Vayne. Vayne is my favorite AD carry, and those of you who play League of Legends will feel right at home when using my following build. The Vayne-Demon Hunter build I created, is designed specifically for PVP—it is mostly based on mobility and single target damage.

MOUSE SKILS both primary and secondary skills are designed to allow the demon hunter to burst out damage, yet snare the enemy.

Primary: Entangling Shot with Bounty Hunter Rune
Entangling Shot is perfect for PVP; it does a good amount of damage while keeping targets snared. The Bounty Hunter rune enables the Demon Hunter to life steal. Entangling Shot with the Bounty Hunter rune gives the player stability and survibility for any PVP scenario.

Secondary: Fan of Knives with Hail of Knives Rune
Fan of Knives is perfect for PVP. Great damage and the snare effect that can be used against close target(s). The Hail of Knives rune amplifies the damage and increases the radius of the skill.

ACTION BAR SKILLS (VAYNE STYLE) the action bar skills are all based on Vayne’s abilities and summoner’s spells.

    1: Vault with Tumble Rune
Vault is Vayne’s tumble, it keeps you mobile: a close gaper or a swift exit to safety. By having the Tumble rune your immediate second Vault will cost less, ensuring you to spam it twice if need be.

    2. Preparation with Battle Scars Rune
Preparation with the Battle Scars rune works like both “Heal” and “Clarity” from League of Legends. You refill Discipline and Health at the same time.

    3. Impale with Impact Rune
Impale with Impact rune is Vayne’s Condemn: it is single target nuke attack with a push back and a stun.

    4. Smoke Screen with lingering Fog Rune
Smoke Screen is Vayne’s ultimate: Final Hour. Smoke Screen, just like Final Hour, turns you invisible. The Lingering Fog rune will allow you to stay in stealth longer.

    Passives

    1 .Sharpshooter
Increases the change to crit by 3%.

    2. Cult of Weak
With Entangling Shot and Fan of Knives there will be a lot of snare. “Cult of Weak” will increase your damage against those snared targets.

    3. Perfectionist
Reduces the cost of Discipline abilities and by both Tumble and Smoke Screen, it is a must.

    Quote from Hemomancer

I am going to roll a Demon Hunter from the very get go. Ever since the announcement of the Demon Hunter at Blizzcon 2010 I have been delighted with the unique attributes of the class. The play style seems really fun: a swift, agile, deadly—fatal assassin with a touch of sexiness. What's not to like?

The Demon Hunter is my first pick as stated above in myself-quote.

For my second play through I will roll Barbarian. It was a hard decision between the Wizard class and the Barbarian, but at the end the Barbarian prevailed. A really wise turtle named Oogway once said, “Your mind is like this water, my friend. When it gets agitated, it becomes difficult to see. But if you allow it to settle, the answer becomes clear." Therefore I let my mind settle—thought things through, and without any rush I arrived at a peaceful conclusion. I knew I wanted to play a melee class because my main class was a range: the Demon Hunter. Because I craved a melee class and the fact that Two-Handed Barbarians are just faceroll, the answer was crystal cleared.

I have noticed that there are a lot of mix feelings between playing solo or with others. Due to real life limitators some of you are forced to play solo. Others choose to fable alone over having to playing with random people—I would do the same. There are others of you who believe that the essence of Diablo is co-op, regardless who you play with. Finally, there are those who believe that playing with friends is the cream filling of the game, and fortunately for me, I know a plethora of friends who are all fired up for D3. More than likely I will not be playing solo unless I wish not to be disturbed due to a bad day, etc.

I made a post earlier asking people to specify the class they are going to play and the reasons behind it: http://www.diablofans.com/topic/34809-what-class-and-why/. I was amazed at the amount of attention it received from the community in just a couple of hours. To continue and contribute to yesterday’s topic [“What class and why?”] I will like to go further into the actual meat of the game. At the end of the day, we all want to play D3 for one sole reason—gameplay. When the game finally shines upon us, will you be playing by yourself or with friends? Why did you pick solo play over co-op or vice versa?

I originally intended to enjoy the game to its’ fullest by playing it by myself: go through as much lore content as humanly possible, take my time and explore/wonder around, ensure not to miss the delightful scenarios Blizzard has crafted. Yet, when I looked at the overall picture there was a void. Something was missing. Diablo 3 will not be as meaningful or convey the same experience if I play solo rather than with friends. Diablo 3’s building blocks are co-op. It is true that D3 is a single player game too, but the joy and fun of Diablo is slaying demons with friends. I hate PvE but Diablo has an addictive nature to it. Diablo ensures that you will fall in love with hack and slash. Without friends any game is just a game; so at midnight, when D3 is released, I am positive I will be slaying hordes of demons with my brother and two of my closest comrades.

It has been a long and weary wait for Diablo 3. Fortunately the dreadful voyage is almost over, thus if you have not yet chosen a class to main, it is time to start thinking about it since release date is dawning. Which class, out of the five, breaks apart from the group to you, and why? How do you go about picking a class: looks, like a certain play style, seems to be OP, etc…?
