Honestly not going to complain about gameplay, I do fine and have no reason to whine. I just have some money to spend on my next piece of gear and I really want your guys' opinion on which piece I could get the most bang for my (gold). I also appreciate any info as to what i'm doing wrong in any aspect, thanks! http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Dezwrath-1893/hero/11925107
Act 1 is easy, even the butcher is easy (however, you will need around 20k dps to actually kill him in time). As far as act 2 goes, you'll need around 500-600 resistances to everything, physical, fire, etc. And you really HAVE to stay above 30k hp. There is a certain amount of armor, but if you have up to date gear, not too much to worry about. Depending on what char/build you have, you'll want +life on hit aswell. So while you do really have to cheese your stats in inferno, there's a couple ways to do it.
The only problem I have with it, is that I can't use the skillset I want, you HAVE to take defensive abilities combined with the gear. I'd like to run in and start whirl winding like a real barbarian should (with caution of course, i'm only somewhat of a moron), not sit there with a shield and try to cheese health regen.
The thing that bothers me about inferno is that you're limited to one "basically cookie cutter" build to survive in inferno. You either take the defensive abilities, or you're dead, even more. I know that's not what blizzard is about.
So I can't seem to give myself a definite answer so I figured i'd ask you guys. I pre-ordered my D3 collector's edition from Gamestop literally the day I got back from blizzcon, and i'm wondering if i'm actually going to get it or not. It's 100% paid off of course, I also have a receipt showing that I have it paid off aswell. So, my question to you all is: What are the chances I go in there a few days from now and they say, "Sorry there buddy, we promised too many, you're SOL." I do realize that it's quite pessimistic to think this way, but you have to respect Murphy's law.
Keep in mind, this Gamestop also sold me a used Vita game as new (first Vita game I bought, didn't know if they came wrapped new... I know i'm a rube). The next day I went in there to complain and the employees were even talking about how their printers were messed up and putting new labels on used games, and yet they just dismissed me like the ugliest thing in the room and kept talking about how awesome SSX is... So is this bad feeling in my stomach Filiberto's, or is this gamestop full of nerdy con-artists, or maybe both? =D
What keeps you going? Why do you feel comfortable and/or happy waking up the next day?
If you don't - and the feeling you have is that of one where you wish you wouldn't wake in the morning - why?
Just curious...
Until I found my girlfriend, I honestly didn't have a purpose. I sat there jobless and playing video games with no real reason to do shit lol; I figured, hey, never gonna do anything or get anywhere anyway. I went with the Chris Farley way of life lmao. But since I met my GF i've started my own business and on my way to a law degree now, so if I get up for any reason in particular, i'd say her.
I actually felt like the Wizard was under powered at first too honestly. However, I didn't know that int increases skill damage and not a single wand dropped for me (had to craft one, boo hoo I know). My brother was a barb and my GF was a DH and they were both just ripping stuff apart. It would literally take me about 13-18 orbs to get something to half hp at the end; until I upgraded my gear of course, then it was constant massacres.
Sorry if this question has already been answered but I couldnt seem to find it in the search. I've already bought the digital version of Diablo 3 and have downloaded it but can I still purchase the collectors version at a later date or do I need to purchase it now?
If there are any left of course you can buy a collector's (i'm sure there will be). I'm pretty sure you can use it to upgrade your existing D3 account, the one you activated online that is; if you do that, I think your original account will receive all of the collector's goodies.
How did I guess you were canadian from your 'diablo 3 release date vid'? Toronto?
It was tough for ME to watch this because of the shear amount of hours I spent playing that game. Secret level will be here there I can almost garuntee it however what that level will cosnsit of is a mystery. The video is great if you are wondering what D2 was like it was very dense.
Diablo + my childhood = current addictive personality issues
Bring back rakanishu?
I think my bubbly light blue D3 shirt will reflect what's in that level =D
The guides are always really cool, last one I got was for skyrim because I thought I would use it... because it's skyrim; never ended up using it though. So I dunno if I had the $30 to blow on it, it'd be a cool collector piece, other than that, i'd just use diablofans =D

I hear you about the money, I put the $10 at gamestop and slowly paid it off like $5 at a time.
