I see. I was talking about game channels, that was what they were called back in the day, if I recall.

Private Games are what I sought.

    Thanks for the info.

There are currently no channels in D3, and you don't need them. Add their bnet email to your friends list and you can join/request to join their games very easily (or invite them to yours).

I see. But, how do I prevent random people from joining our games?

    Hello.

I have a question regarding multiplayer play. I have played Diablo 2, but always offline, mostly solo. 2-3 times on LAN. Never online.

What me and my friends wish to do in DIII is to only play with each other. Now, I'm wondering how channels work. Back in the day, unless I'm wrong, you could create channels and lock them so only people with the password could come in.

How would it work with Diablo 3? Is it possible to make "private" games that only me and my friends can join? We do not want idiots coming and not playing correctly, stealing stuff, stealing kills, stacking MF and being useless.

I had my fill with WoW, I want to enjoy this game with the people I want, and not being forced to carry or deal with infantile adults.

Thank you for your help in answering my question!
