The metor still works, its that skipping the act dosent. What I'd like to test (I have no friends that play.. ok, no friends) is if you do the last quest in the act can you "skip" the acts that way and get right to the sweet spot. I'd like to roll a mage and hate the idea of the story 3 more times before I really get to play it.
Curious if this is still an option post patch (not able to skip acts in public games). Im not sure if you could just have someone join the last quest of the act and power through the first two to get to this point or not. I want to level a sorc, but 3rd time through the game may kill me
I had the file on my C which is where all the files extracted to; new target screwed the install. Moved the file to the proper drive and no more issue.
Everything was changed from +skills to +weapon damage; probably to make it easier to balance things out. In D2 when you swapped to your barb with x2 +3 spears to get that extra shout buffs it changed even weak chars... now all the skills (seems like even life leech) will be more skill/rune based which is an interesting concept. I like the variety and if they can keep it balanced it will keep everyone from running FOTM
I just got a new SSD and am working to reinstall the beta but it wont let me select a different drive (other than C) to use as my install point. I would think it would be odd to lock the install path; however it could just be for the beta.
Any other beta testers using different drive/install point? I dont have any active accounts or I'd ask on the beta forums there too; also needed to sign up here as Im going to look for some HC players/trade partners
