I hope they'll stick to isometric. Thats what made Diablo, "Diablo". But I am open for something new though.

QoL: Health Potion in Inventory? How about fixing that too? Pets that actualy pick up different mats, gold we have already, what about one for dust, one for jewelry, one for DBs, or even one that picks up everything? Follower items to equip more? Scoundrel misses offhand...make legendary powers of rings and amulets also active on followers, maybe? For solo, would be nice to have. (Some are, some not)

Hey there!
Just wanted to jump in quickly to provide information on Challenge Rift reward on consoles.
As I was going to complete the Rift with the WD, I wanted to get my reward in the main town but even as it said "press X", it did nothing.
I remember having the game restart several times it did work though.
So anyone having the same problems?

Yes its true, they had this transparency going on with the said post. But honestly, why teasing us at BlizzCon Opening Ceremony with phrases such as " news for all the franchises" "we listen to the community" "all our games get the same love" etc...
I know this sounds incredibly whiney from my part, but when they do transparency, they should be honest and talk about it what happens with the franchise, and not this around the warm soup talk.
They clearly said they would let us see work in progress stuff, even if it is not yet ready for public, to show of their amazing work on all their games.
Well that escalated quickly...
Just my opinion

Well I don't want to be the one that gets you people all hyped, at least take it with a grain of salt, they actually said at the opening ceremony that they will announce new stuff for "ALL" the franchises. That in my opinion includes the Diablo Franchise aswell.
So they could simply announce something later today (second day).
We will see... If not, there will be news coming 2018 for whatever they are about to share with us regarding our beloved Diablo Franchise.

When farming DBs I typically run the whole Rift. Makes more sense to me though.
UE Multi for sure.

Looks like fun, but honestly, what is the reason to have leaderboards and competitive GR or Challenge Rifts, when it doesn't count. Afterall this will be too OP to even consider a whole Rift with one Pylon Power. But I sure like the idea of legendary Pylons or Shrines, but it needs to be something unique and very fun. Maybe having a legendary Shrine that gives you 2000% on Legendray drop (like the community buff) for 5 minutes or so, or the EXP buff, something like this, and they should be random, like all the other Shrines and haunted Shrines and so on.

Right! March 31 it is!

With that in mind, don't forget that season 10 will be available on consoles too!

Hi!
This discussion is going in the wrong direction. Subjectively, it was about the Necro and what to expect in the future. To dispute on something like UI and the current 2.5.0 PTR patch has nothing to do with it.
This update is more quality of life as it is content.
Just my opinion on this...
Cheers

Just adding my 2 cents to this conversations,
D4 will happen, this is something that is known now for a while, in what form and when, that is something we might not be aible to know for a good period of time, since the Necro is knocking on the Door this year and of course the other content, that comes along with seasons on consoles starting with season 10. So as you can see, there is a plan for D3 to be here and I think, that in the coming 8 months where the Necro is in development, they are working on different things too, not just the Necro...Probably more zones and UI, but maybe new chars Packs or even something big to end the D3 game once and for all what would lead to D4 afterwards. I am not the one who wants to tease you guys or that I hope something like this would happen, but I see a plan, and its gonna be something "big". In what form exactly I cant tell, but it will happen.

May I put some infos as well?
You can spend your paragons, you can craft a weapon, the only thing you might know to reach this, is to go straight to the event. Do not gain a level up outside of the Event, you need to enter as lvl 1. That worked just fine for me.
Hope this helps!
Best regards

Hi there!
The Armory and the "mats" patch will probably roll out when season 10 starts, as this is also the first season available for consoles, the Armory and mats where also part of the announcement for the seasons on consoles. So my best guess is the patch that comes along with season 10 will provide the new mechanics, so is Challenge Rifts probably. The Necromancer will therefor be playable at Gamescom 2017 in august and then set to release just after, probably with a patch too, as they said the necro will be releasde in half-ish of 2017, this could very well be the point.
Thanks folks!

I would gladly pay for more content. With the Necro Pack there will be 2 new stash tabs, sigil, banner and a pet. There are changes coming for crafting mats, the garderobe for saving builds some new legendaries and reworked ones. There are new Kanais recepies talked, charms that are planned, but I dont know if this ever happens. Lets see what the future brings. Maybe more payable packs coming?
