Ehem, judging from OP overall stats (with almost zero resist , high crit chance-crit damage, high aspd), I think dex should be a nice place to invest in, 1,500 is just too low imop, a nice boost to raw damage should not hurt anyone especially with dual-wielding.
As for the build, from his sound, I think the OP is much more comfortable to dual-wield than the xbow and I think its kind of a fun build too, so here goes theoryy crafting ;
1. I might suggest using HA with that crit-aoe instead of Entangling Shot, the op should feel like a beast Gatling out those crit-bomb.
2. I dont think Cluster Arrow is a good idea for dual-wield spec since your base weapon damage is the lowest compare to other type of bows, but the skill to replace this slot is still a mystery to me, perhaps consider the crit-centric one or the one which benefit more from the attack frequencies?
3. Also with the same logical sense to number 2, I dont think Caltrop-Jagged Spike will do him much good. Caltrop with Torturing Ground and Hooked Spine may work better for the purpose of kiting? It just suits better to his setup.
To conclude ;
I'm not much of a help........LOL.
The flaw which is really clear to notice are that there are a little too less DEX and the OP are playing the builds for 2HXbow style.
If I were in OP place I would focus more on getting the most out of dual-wield strongest trait which is the attack speed and his higher crit-chance, Im sure there are skills that favor this type of build.
Additionally, Gear-Wise, maybe the OP can try those Crowd Control effects in all his other slot? I mean 5% per slot for 6 slot is huge and I bet those are cheap to find and wayyyyyy more fun to go inferno.
Edited for easier reading and more opinion (works like a patch), sorry for my lack of Engrish XD.
Almost all this info is very out of date. With the DH now having hatred builder skills all this is now hugely different.
Clypheous, I was referring the up-to-date skill, as of now, after they changed to hate gen / cost hate / disc.
Go check out Monk and Barb crazy skills.
I tried to build a pvp/pve monk and barb but I couldn't decide which skills to pick, every thing synergizes far better and they seemed like each skill compliment each other well resulting in like endless mix of combination.
But when I did with a DH, It all seems to narrow my choices. It's like if i'm going for skill A then skill B is a must otherwise they are just not practical.
Oh well, we'll have to see if Blizz going to notice and do something about that, if not, good luck to u all playing DH, u'll need SHITLOAD of it.
Would appreciate if any one feels the same way I do.
PS. and the worst thing is I cant post on thier offical forum on my own. I used to own a WOW account, I even signed in on my old acct email, but they says no char were found ;(((
pardon me my grammar and such, English insnt my native languages
Could somebody with a character in Blizzard's official forum post the content of this thread?
I am fully understood each class pros and cons, still we Hunter needs SOME more better passives or even actives to represent ourselves right.
I really do feel that it's underpowered.
And the OP post, with his numbers of example, did missed quite a few passives and other active as well
Here's an example without the rune effects basis.
Barb Passive
Juggernaut - Reduced movement impairing effect by 20% , additionally if feared,stunned,charmed gain 15% life.
DH Passive
Comparing to Juggernaut? - None
Barb Active
War Cry - Gain frenzy and armor
DH Active
Shadow Power - Lose Discipline and gain aspd
And did you guys see that Barb's Sprint with Crimson? It by far exceeds any of our defensive move.
To Sum up
What I'm trying to point out is, When Barb gets all the gain and gain at a disposal of skill.
DH are forced to lose something to be able to gain something, if not, the gaining is just too minor (of a duration and effects) to be really worthwhile.
If u guys see what I mean
Please get this thread content to Blizz official forum, so they might noticed and give it a little more thought, cuz from my point of view, this class is still far unbalanced.
