Oct 31, 2013askle24 posted a message on Last Chance Contest: Win 2 BlizzCon Tickets!I am most looking forward to starting fresh with the Crusader class. The aesthetics of the Crusader are incredible and the gameplay footage we have been shown looks like it is going to be an epic experience worthy of Diablo.Posted in: News

I do see how clutter could make it annoying, but as far as players tunnel-visioning and focusing on drops, this would certainly be an issue in public games if there was a competition for loot. I don't think personal loot is bad or ruining the game nor do I cling to a D2 feature without reason. I just think that if I am in a game with friends I trust, I wouldn't mind a little friendly competition for drops
I realize it's wishful thinking, but it would be fun if it was an option for those who wanted to enable it.

I haven't seen this discussion pop up and was wondering what other people thought about this. I think it would be great to see an option to allow loot to drop for all characters in a game. I realize not everyone would enjoy that, so perhaps it could be an option enabled within the game.
One of my favorite aspects of the Diablo series has always been seeing the loot that dropped not only for me but for my friends in the game.
Clearly this has already been implemented and is available in local co-op on the console, why not allow us to do it on the PC as well?
Thoughts?

Here is a link to the build: http://us.battle.net...XhUc!dWg!ZZcbaZ
Abilities:
Cleave - Reaping Swing - Generates an additional 3 fury per enemy hit
Seismic Slam - Shattered Ground - Increased damage and knockback
Ground Stomp - Avalanche - 12 yard knockback and 55% weapon damage
Furious Charge - Stamina- 8 fury per target hit
Overpower - Revel - 7% Life Stolen per enemy hit
Rend - Blood Lust - 6% Life Stolen by rend
Passives:
Bloodthirst - 3% Life Stolen
Animosity - Increase max fury by 20, increase fury generation by 10%
Brawler - 30% additional damage when 3 enemies within 8 yards
Tactics:
This build focuses on the ability to control crowds of enemies. The increased fury generation of cleave and furious charge allows for a big opening of fury generation, followed by an instant application of Rend to start stacking life leach. Seismic slam will serve as the main fury dump and also knock back enemies in front of the Barbarian, reducing the amount of damage being taken. In scenarios where the Barb is overwhelmed, Ground Stomp will serve as a reprieve, by knocking all enemies back 12 yards, allowing for another charge. Overpower serves as another nice means of health regen with the Revel rune ability, and also adds to the already high amount of AoE output.
The passives also allow for additional life leach, increased fury and fury generation, as well as additional damage in AoE situations.

I guess that's my real question, will there be any semblance of a ladder system. I believe someone stated that there will be no Ladder vs. Non-Ladder stipulation. Can a system like that exist in the game when Blizzard allows real currency to be spent on in-game items. I can imagine that the outrage over Ladder seasons ending would be rather intense.
