May 12, 2008Thasador posted a message on Blizzcon 2008 AnnouncedThere will be one. For Bliz to take ownership of this domain just in time for the two conventions only tells me one thing. An announcement is to made (meaning new game) and the blizzcon will show us some previews, maybe testing, beta keys and all of that for the announced game. Just like SC2Posted in: News

1. The game title is not "Diablo III or World of Diablo"Quote from "macbarbicus" »I said it once I'll say it again this is your diablo 3
www.mythos.com
The game looks exactly similar to what I would Imagine diablo 3 after playing the first 2 extensively. plus I'm not sure but I think blizzard north was mostly the ones responsible for diablo 3 and this would prob be named diablo 3 if they didn't break off lol.
2. The game title is not "Diablo III or World of Diablo"
and last but not least...
3. The game title is not "Diablo III or World of Diablo"
I am really tired of people saying...."Hellgate London is your sequel"...."Mythos is your diablo 3"...."Flagship Studios group made Diablo and they are no longer part of Blizzard"
The next diablo game is one that continues the story as a prequel or a sequel and is created by Blizzard. Having a different game title such as the ones I stated above are NOT the next diablo game. -

No that is not how i speak to new members...go look at every single thread in the intro forum. I was merely speaking in general to all whom think the same way. I was just pointing out the if activision/blizzard wanted to announce a new game...they surely wouldnt do so on a fanbase website.Quote from name="El Carnicero" »Thats how you rope new members in, shame 'em on their first post. -

You guys would think that if there was any unveiling or progress report to the public would be done so by activision/blizzard themselves at a convention...not on a fan base website...shame on you.Quote from "cheebalover" »hello people i am new here! glad to be part of this community, if there is a topic for intrduction then i am sorry for not posting there..
anyway like the new design, and the news., but i am not so happy about blizzard not admitting any diablo development progress..we are hungry for news!! -

ARE YOU NOT LISTENING?!?!?! Medievaldragon posted on that it is not a game announcement. NOW STOP CRYING AND LEAVE IF WE DID NOT FULLFILL YOUR DREAMS. My goodness how some people can be. It was your choice to come here, it was your choice to stay for the full 14 days (wow) and it was your choice to think that it would be a game announcement...even though it was already stated that it wasnt. So dont go pointing a finger at someone for wasting your time.Quote from name="El Carnicero" »I just want to say as a paying member of these forums, I feel OUTRAGED by the breach of trust that was commited by the conspiring moderators who banded together to force me to waste 14 days of my valuable time thinking about a video game. This network merger in disguise is almost to much for me to bear and i feel the pain of your lies like daggers in my heart. I plan to report this site to the highest gaming forum authorities. -

Oh I know you posted it...i was just making fun of the energy spent by the people that registered and got disappointed by the countdown. I love what has just happened...but some people just dont read.Quote from "Medievaldragon" »Sorry, but not my fault if people don't read. The very first post said this was not a game announcement, and if you browse through all the 200 pages every few pages I would repeat the same once and again asking people not to get too hyped about a game announcement because it wasn't one, but a step into the right direction.
All the time I said it was Diablo 3 related, and that Blizzard knew about. -

I know seriously. WWI is coming up people and if this countdown did something marvelous...hint....(bliz taking over a diablo3 fansite in time for the WWI) hint...hint..hint..;)) then just wait 2 months for WWI to give us something more spectacular. Impatience...impatience.Quote from "Medievaldragon" »Can you imagine that? It was in a sense a test. People waited two weeks to find out the outcome of the countdown, and now that people complaining overhype don't realize they have to wait 58 days countdown to WWI to find out if a game will be announced lol. -

Yea, but some newcomers just put too much time in finding out there was a countdown at diablo3.com....putting in too much effort in registering just in time for the countdown to go to zero. Them not finding out that it was not a diablo 3 announcement is making them regret putting in the energy of doing all that is stated above.Quote from "TeHAJ" »why is everyone so pissed? this is basically blizzard saying "guess what we r making!??!?!" lol...stop being ass holes and appreciate the news -
May 1, 2008Thasador posted a message on Diablo3.com becomes Diablofans.com! Blizzard acquires diablo3.com.MD clearly stated that it is Diablo related and it is NOT an announcement. I cant understand why people didnt get this through their heads. I am very pleased with the results of the countdown and everyone keep up the great stuff!Posted in: News

May 1, 2008Thasador posted a message on Diablo3.com becomes Diablofans.com! Blizzard acquires diablo3.com.Well, I like the new look and everything and hearing that bliz took over the domain shows they are still supporting the diablo series. Though changing the URL to diablofans instead of keeping diablo3 is a bummer. But upmost, I am pleased with the changes. I personally think that nothing was overhyped as the ones whom witnessed the countdowns and wrote several blogs about it twisting it around and them..."overhyping" it.Posted in: News
