Meathead Mikhail did a video where he says the +50% damage buff produced by generators affects spenders ONLY, and the +50% buff produced by spenders affects generators ONLY.

That is plain wrong. The 50% damage are multiplicative and affects everything.

Rubberneck posted a message on Drop Rates in 2.0? Timer?
Travis day talks about this topic here.

The fact that some people claim to go for 10+ hours without finding a legendary is not only not our intent, but should in fact be impossible. We added a system in the expansion that tracks the amount of time you spend fighting creatures without finding a legendary and after a certain period of time will slowly start increasing the legendary drop rate. Once a legendary drops for you, actual item not crafting recipe or material, we reset that timer. This is meant to be a safety net so that the random can never be too extreme to the negative end. If players are legitimately going 18+ hours and not seeing a legendary it's possible that there are some bugs floating around that need to be identified.

I think i`ve seen one at Fields of Misery. Instead of the Resplendant Chest with the mini-boss tree(or elite?) there was a cursed chest.

You complete the event by just participating in it. You're talking about the bonus, which is essentially just that - a bonus for those who can make it.
That really is just playing semantics, the whole point of them is to get the bonus. If you aren't playing on faceroll difficulty, chances are you will never get it. So if you really want to get down to it, the game should be rewarding those who are challenging themselves more than those who are not.
I'm being able to do it on Torment IV. I think it is just fine. You probably just need better gear, and remember, you can change your spec before activating the event.
As a wizard, I change a couple of skills, i see archon as a must have in these situations.

This needs all the attention it can get.

Spread the word. THIS could work really well and make D3 live up to its predecessor with style.

    +10000!!

What is the challenge you are talking about on MP4 or 5? The damage increase is negligible. The monsters are not smarter, their affixes are not more deadly. The only challenge there is to manage your discipline during extremely prolonged fights due to insane HP amounts.

My feeling about 1.0.5 is completely opposite. The game just got a whole lot more boring because MP1 where I will spend most of my time when farming (excluding Infernal Machine farming) is too easy. MP2 already feels that fights are dragging a lot more--read as take more than 15 to 20 seconds per pack. MP5 is boring because everything takes so much time to kill but other than the risk of dieing out of boredom there is no other danger. MP8+ is total atrocity HP-wise to the point when the game stops into a crawl because even a critter has 1 million hit points.

There is no motivation to play on higher MP levels other than internal strive for a challenge. Such motivation is weak and will only last until you did it the first time. Why would you torture yourself on MP5+ for a longer period of time is beyond my understanding.

    There is no torture.
100% Gloom uptime tanking with Spike traps critting for 500k and bola shot is ridiculously fun.
I've been farming on mp4/5 and doing ubers on mp5-6. Got my Hellfire Ring today.
Im at 104k dps with archery only and no LoH.
Nightstalker with 45% crit. No Legacy Nat.

    edit: added details
