The other video demonstrates his almost 7 minute fight with the Skeleton King.
All this video does is show it to be a complete waste of time for MP10 in normal. He took 7 minutes for 1 yellow and a blue? You can do that in any mode.
The point of playing in MP10 normal (or any other lower difficulty) is not for efficency, it's for challenge. You will get more efficient leveling using a fairly low MP as you can still kill quickly and get 20% XP gain per MP level. I imagine MP 2 or 3 might be the most efficent for someone just running through with no twink gear. This could be increased if you have some gear on reserve for that character.
As for item finding, unless you're in act 3/4 in Hell or in Inferno, I don't see many people careing or using MP for item hunting. Not unless you want to take a lvl 60 into MP10 and farm for low level legendaries for an alt or something.

Wow, this is shocking.
How are people agreeing with a nerf more than not???
I think Blizzard finally succeeded in brainwashing people.
EDIT: Clearing up for clairty and after re-reading the original.
I think it's about being reasonable. You can't just buff everything, if you do, there'd be nothing left and everything would be trivial. I think people are finally starting to realize you sometimes have to bring things down in order to maintain balance. Otherwise they'd then have to buff the monsters all over again and we'd start seeing ridiculous numbers and values all becuase no one wanted to see the word "nerf".

MP10 in normal is to level faster, imo very usefull if you want to start a new char.
Not entirely true. MP10 appears to be for challenge more than anything else. There's even a thread here in Diablofans that shows it's not efficient even though you have higher levels for the content that you're at. If you were to twink out a character, then maybe it could be efficient.

But I haven't done all 5 characters yet. Once I do that, I will probably stop playing as much as to avoid burnout. I want the game to come out more than ever now that I've played it. It's one of those double edge swords, I love the game but now that I can play some of it, the wait is harder.

Wasn't me I hope!
I try to treat the class as it should be played and not just rush into melee 'cause I won't take damage with easy mode.

Unfortunately, on my videos I always feel like I don't sound energetic enough. So I'm a little envious.

That would make sense actually. That way you don't have to feel like you need to play in a group if you don't want to and it's really just a choice of how you personally want to play.

Also, runes were said to drop very frequently, so I don't see it as being something that will make you feel accomplished. Especially since the difference in a level 1 rune to level 7 is just increase in power or duration, there's no major changes in game play between them.
Items are still going to make the biggest impact on the game and be the focus for leveling and end game play. I don't think the removal of just one item type is going to change any of that.

It could really just come down to gear, a good offhand really makes the difference that the quiver buff covers that nicely. The only problem there is, if gear is the problem, then the DH scaling at end game might be off. It is pretty hard to say at this point, I don't think it's that bad. When I played the DH again I was happy with it, but I can see where the perception is since my WD is just tearing through groups.

I will say that demon hunters feel much better than they did in Patch 12. I have only just started on my 2nd class as it takes me awhile to get videos done, but my Witch Doctor already feels pretty strong in comparison. I really liked Hungering Arrow with the first rune, but DH still doesn't have the group killing power my WD has right now.
I got a friend of mine into beta and he seems to agree that Demon Hunter is his least favorite so far. I think it might need some tweaks.
While some have said we can't judge based on just this starting part, you still have to take into consideration how the class feels leveling up. If a class feels too weak leveling up, people will tend to not want to play through to the end with it.
If you're interested in seeing how the DH feels in Patch 13, my first playthrough on my YouTube channel is dedicated to DH. Just click the link in my signature and you'll see the playlist listed.

Yeah the old system was really polished, but it was a system they had worked on for a long time. This one being new is going to require some TLC to get it to the same level. The problem with the old system is that it was based on runes being a drop, so they had to change everything. If they could figure out a way to make rune selection a bit easier and not have us shuffling through various pages, I'll be much better.

That's just... uhhh... well... *cough* that's just how badass Masamune Date is.. uh, that he doesn't worry about being judged.. Yeah that's it <_<
I'm hoping the Elective mode UI will be improved. The way I see it, this is a rough draft and it's going to be updated with the feedback Blizz is getting.
