I cant understand why woud someone care if diablo is female. Its a demon, demon could simply be asexual!
Maybe they just get the sex of their host.
Or maybe its alway been female and just looked bulkier because it had male hosts.
I don't know...doesn't seem right to me. Not with the whole series. I've known Diablo to be male in both voice, act and built. I don't want it to change to suit a writers fantasy.
Surely the "writer" you are talking about, is Blizzard? The creator of the series and of the character you have *assumed* to be male. As a Blizzard employee said, we have never seen Diablos' true form.
What is more scary? A massive hulking "male" looking beast demon, or a lithe feminine "demoness". Since he is the Lord of Terror, his appearance changes to suit the deepest terrors of those around him.
Now imagine we have Cain with us at some point during the game, and the one thing Deckard Cain fears more than anything is that Diablo somehow takes over Leah....
and so we see a "female" version of Diablo....
See a connection? Just becuase there is a screengrab of a "female" looking Diablo, it could be a cutscene involving Deckard Cain's nightmare because he knows the connection between the Dark Wanderer and Adria? Leah's mother? So his greatest fear is that a piece of Diablo lives on in Leah, and seeing a "female" diablo would fit that.

I know in Diablo II there wasnt any real clan support from Blizzard except for chat channels you could make yourself but, do you think there will be any clan or (guild) support in Diablo III down the road?
midnight releases never excited me, i will eb getting my game at 10am and i wouldnt want it any other way

That is how i usually feel but this is D3, not just any game, i want to play it as much as possible on release day even if it is lag lag lag hha...but i also want to do it with my cool angel wings and cloud armor.

Sorry i offended you by posting about D3 on the D3 forums...maybe ill take my post to the my grandfather is dying forums and see if they have anything to say about it.
So i just called my local Gamestop to confirm my CE order went thru, only to find out that they weren't planning on doing a midnight release... Needless to say i was verbally upset with them i mean cmon, it's Diablo 3... Well i tried to call around the other gamestops to find a midnight release. All of them were having one but none of them had a CE available. I'm wicked pissed and looks like i will be spending the first 9 hours of May 15th waiting for Gamestop to open. What a nightmare.

Hate to break it to you but the Mayan apocalypse is a sham...they didnt account for leap year, so technically the supposed end of days was give or take about 8 months ago. Shame.
This is a Hardcore Demon Hunter build based on Critical Strike damage and staying alive obviously. I took Impale coupled with Grievous wounds to get the extra Critical Strike damage. Add the Critical Chance from Archery and the Proc from Sharpshooter and you get Critical Damage all the time.
I took Evasive Fire for the Hatred Gen. and the escape from damage. I added Surge with it to get the extra elemental damage.
Smoke Screen is mostly for sticky situations, along with another Hatred Generator besides Evasive Fire, with Breathe Deep.
I took Strafe with Equilibrium so i could have a way to put out damage whilst moving which i think will be huge in HC mode.
Vault with Action Shot is purely for getting around the area with ease and also for a little bit of damage output whilst moving again.
Preparation with Battlescars is purely an "ohshit" button. With Smoke Screen and Preparation I will hopefully be able to survive every time.
For Passives i took Brooding as a way to regen health with no globes around, and i took Archery and Sharpshooter purely for the Crit Damage output.
Hopefully with this build i will be able to stay alive and not die ever.
Honestly i think it is a useless passive unless you have an extra skill slot and nothing constructive to put there such as Smoke Screen or Preparation. I dont ever recall using basic attack in D2 because it just didnt get the job done. Maybe it has changed but i think something like Brooding or even Steady Aim would be better passives. All of course depending on what your entire build is.
IMO it would just be boring and not effective to use basic attacks as a hatred generator.
I just pre-ordered the CE at Gamestop, i had to go to 2 different stores before i found one though. They said they are only getting a set amount at each location and they wont be available after release....so if you havn't pre-ordered yet id get on it.
So, in D2 the escape key was well, key to playing HC. Get surrounded by cows, esc. Get smacked by some stygian dolls, esc. I was curious...is this also an option in DIII. If not I feel quite a few people are going to lose a few more chars. then normal. Anyone have an answer?

Personally, I would like to see an HC arena where you don't lose your character after losing in arena.
I understand that HC means no life after death but at the same time, I only play HC and would like someway to play arena without the worry of losing a character forever in said arena. Plus, if you are playing arena in the first place odds are you are playing to see your name high up on the ladder(assuming there will be some sort of ranking in arena)...if you lose your character when you lose arena then at the end there will only be one(or very few) teams/persons on the ladder at all, and that's no fun.
From my understanding, right now the way arena works is a timed match where the players with the most kills at the end of the allotted time wins. If they keep this format for HC arena well, that wouldn't make much sense huh? All of the matches would last all of about a minute maximum(guesswork).
I think a good mid-ground would be implementing a gold/exp loss per "death" in HC arenas(maybe even allow for exp loss to reduce levels). This way, if you lose in arenas you will have to work your way back up via PvE to stay competitive in the arena. For all of you thinking you can just lose arenas on purpose to go against lesser opponents, well that wont work because if you lose level's you will also lose the ability to use gear so the people you face will still be at your level. As for the gold loss that is just another gold sink and we know how fun those are, especially when you don't get anything in return.

The thing that all people are misunderstanding here is that most religious folk don't believe anything...they Know their God exists, they Know they are going to heaven or something when they die, and they Know it is the right way of thinking...if you try to prove them wrong, they will tell you all of the things they Know whether you want to hear it or not.
