Finally got my DH to 60 and spent a decent amount of gold on him so I could hit 280 MF with 5 stacks just because I hate gear swapping. I have crit hit and crit damage on both rings, gloves, amulet, and crit hit on my helm. Everything else is high Dex, some vit, and some resists. I had a friend that was quitting give me his old X-bow which is 1164 DPS with 57% crit and also has an 80% crit gem in it. With a decent weapon like that can you just ignore every mechanic in Act 1 while you farm? Is that weapon high enough damage to kill elites in seconds like a barb blowing berserk? Also because its Act 1 can I actually take hits or will everything still one shot me? Have 29k health and 200-250 all resists
You will be fine for act 1, and act 2 if you really feel like it

Yes, resistance can get you thru act 2 but as soon as you hit act 3....they are pointless...i was at about 500 resist all (30k hp) on my DH, around 45kdps(no sharpshooter) and was still getting 1 shot by just about everything. Until they smooth the damage out so it isnt, turn a corner and die, resistance and vitality for DH will be pointless past act 2.
I have sold a few things, in total made about $50 since Tuesday. I used about half of the money ive made to upgrade some low pieces of gear so i can farm more. To me, it is essentially a second gold auction house because i havent put any money in. Only difference is when i feel like it i can cash out and buy some pizza and beer
the main purpose of the game is to have fun....find a way to play the game which is fun for you and you win...dont complain that you cant face roll the hardest part of the game that is meant to be almost unbeatable...tard
i personally prefer to use vault with the reduced cost if you vault again with SS and prep for heal. I used to have chakram but that skill is basically useless in inferno, so i switched it out for bat companion. Entangling with Chain Gang is the bees knees. and i use nether tentacles for my damage. With that build i can take out any mob pack with the exception of Fast/Shielding giving me troubles
Hey guys, i was curious if there was an option to make it so achievements pop up on screen when you earn them, i cant seem to find anyway to turn that on.
Yea, i preordered my CE from gamestop and that specific store decided to not do a midnight release...:( so i am spending the few hours before release trying to find a Collectors edition so i can play at midnight instead of playing at 10am
I think i scheduled it out perfectly so that the day i get back from Myrtle Beach, is the night i go get my D3:CE!! I think that counts as winning right?
I like the Diablo soundtrack just as much as the next guy but for me it gets a little bit tiring while lvling and farming. I was curious as to what everyone else will be jamming to when that time comes.
Personally i will be rocking some 90's surf rock and some underground hip-hop. ie. Presidents of the United States of America and some Army of Pharoah's
Well i work the Graveyard from 4am-8am tuesday thru saturday mornings but i have release day off obviously, so i can play pretty much all day everyday. Im guessing first week probably around 50-70 hours. After that probably 35hours a week being realistic. At least until i get all 5 normal chars to 60. When i start HC again will probably drop to around 20hours a week.
At the moment i am running the AMD Radeon HD 6670 card and it runs everything on at least Medium settings. From what I have heard Diablo 3 isnt very graphic intensive so im assuming the same will be true with D3. What i am looking for is a card that is under $200 and will run D3 on full settings. If anyone has any suggestions that would fantastic.
I have been searching for a copy of Moon of the Spider for some time now and havnt been able to find anything...anywhere for anything less than 45$ for a used copy. Is there anyone out there that can help?
