Just because they are pictured here doesn't mean it has to be a boss. Maybe it means we need to rescue or protect them.

The Adria image would make a lot more since too then since she is being attacked by two vipermages it appears. That being the case the one of Cain can simply be from when we first encounter Cain in Diablo 3 and save him. As for the Alpha of Azmodan it would seem they reused his old concept art for one of his generals possibly or another creature of terror..

To update on the other list with what we know (or feel) now.

Original from PiousFlea, on Page 2. I just updated it with what we now know.

    *(1,1) Imperius
*(2,1) Magda, Leader of the Coven.
(3,1) A ghostly looking guy on fire.
*(4,1) The Mistress of Lust, presumably one of the seven Sins.
*(5,1) This is actually Hakan II. Their was some concept art of him at this years Blzizcon.
*(6,1) Butcher's Carver, hes from Diablo 1 and can be found in Cains Journal.

    *(1,2) Deckard Cain.
*(2,2) Zoltun Kulle, one of the original founders of the Horadrim (Beard looks almost the same anyways).
    *(3,2) The Spider Queen, Araneae.
    *(4,2) Diablo.
*(5,2) Looks like Adria's staff and hood. Might we be attempting a rescue?
    *(6,2) Adria or Leah

    *(1,3) Azmodan.
(2,3) A bunch of different looking demons.
    *(3,3) Magda again.
    (4,3) WTF is this?!??!?!
(5,3) A really fat demon, presumably Gluttony (a Sin!)
    *(6,3) Good old Leoric.

I hope you are also aware this is the same company who runs a very large MMO which requires much more testing before release. If there QA department can handle that then what is a small single-like player game to them?

posted a message on 4 difficulties too much?
I don't. The game would go much quicker as the scaling in difficulties is generally what makes leveling much more fun in this particular type of game (Other than finding items and playing with friends). I doubt we could see a similar difficulty curve that Diablo 2 had and many casual players would be angry at not even being able to finish Normal let alone Nightmare without the aid of friends.

I personally love the idea of an extended version of the game that's intended for intense farming and play.
