 we have almost the exact same DH...

    http://us.battle.net...1/hero/12543243

You have a bit more MF and Dex, I have slightly more crit chance and discipline (from the 2-handed xbows).

I'm at the same situation as you are, Act 2 is kinda easy, Act 3 is almost impossible (gotta wear the tryhard pants and even then it's not guaranteed). Definitely wanted to farm Act 3 with my MF DH as well :D

I'm aware that with a 2-handed and a decent quiver my DPS could improve a lot (I had one before, nearly a 20k increase in dps), but I'm having a blast with the quicker style of 2 one handed xbows, and the extra discipline paired with NightStalker and increased crit chance is awesome for keeping Gloom for almost a whole minute.

Tried searching for individual upgrades, coulnd't find anything for less than 1-2 mil :(

i have another set of gear, almost everything here that has a MF I have without MF. With alternate set I have 25k more dmg and more resistance /armor/life. I can farm ACT3 almost everything. But not with as fast as I can ACT2, and with almost no MF. That is my problem here. I wanted to see if I can raise my farm speed to the point of being able to run through all the trash mobs like WW barbs.

That happend to me one time. Only I noticed it right away but sadly I salvaged the item not sold it to merchant, so it was gone for good. Good thing for me the item did not worth more that a few millions. Huh!

Since then I always double check my DPS after selling to merchant, and I seldom savage.

So what you are saying is that even if I spend like 200 mil on upgrades I would not be able to farm as efficiently as WW barb?
You can farm as efficiently as a tornado/sprint barb with old nats 4 piece but not while maintaining your desired mf niveau. On a sidenote: a decked out barb with high mf and decent killspeed should cost you more even excluding kickass weapons...

Thanks man! Realy appreciate your input.

Helmet: If you pick up something with mf, dex, crit + socket that shouldn't be to expensive and provides a decent dps boost.
Weapon: is this just something for reflect mobs or your regular work piece? With your fund you should be capable of yielding something with a socket, crit damage and a bunch of dex.
I have andariels in stash. This is just my ACT2 gear. And weapon is something that I use I don't have any better.

Those two swaps alone should net you enough damage to clean act 3 just fine.

    ---

Without old nats 4 piece you won't farm act 3 as fast as a tornado/sprint barb, that's a sad fact... but is that class really suited for you? Will you have fun playing it? That's something only you can tell us.

So what you are saying is that even if I spend like 200 mil on upgrades I would not be able to farm as efficiently as WW barb?

That is realy sad, since I enjoy playing DH. My barb is now only 32nd lvl, but from what I can see it maybe is the best option for farming atm. If I could be as good as barb with 150 mil upgrades for my DH i would stick to it but, if there is no chanse of something like that, I think I will roll my self a barb, just for the farming purposes.

How are other classes doing compared to WW's speed farming?

posted a message on Advice on next step with 80 mil Gold
    Hi all,
I'm currently sitting on somewhere around 80 million gold with some items on the AH probably around 100 till the end of the week. I need some advice on where to spend that money.
Here is a link to my DH http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/IcepickD-1823/hero/10626438

I can currently faceroll ACT2 with DH and 250 MF with NV and paragon (50k DPS, 250AR, 24k life). I have "better" gear in my stash and with it I have around 70k DPS, 320 AR, 29k Life, but I can't faceroll act 3, also with that equipment I'm sacrificing all my MF which I do not want to do.
    So my question is:
where to look for my upgrades, should I continue to upgrade mu DH?
Or lvlup a barb and go WW/sprint for the best results?

What would be the least expensive but will be able to faceroll ACT3 like WW Barbs?

posted a message on Which Blacksmith Plan should I buy to turn a profit?
Gloves are the best. They have the best affixes as stated before.
The only real question is will you take a 6 or 5 prop ones.

If you have a LOT of gold, and I mean a LOT, like 20 mil or more and can make a 1-2 milion per day take the 6 prop ones.
Otherwise just take the the five prop ones. They have only one property less but you would only need like 3-4 good ones to make a profit. Although you cant get a absolute perfect like this. But the chances on that are slim at best. The main reason you should take 5 prop ones is the price of the crafting they cost about the half the price of a 6 prop ones, that would actualy mean that you need to make 2 times the money with those than with the 5 prop ones, and a chances you will get better items with 6 prop's are not 2 times better. In fact its much much less. I'm sure someone here can calculate this.

I personaly use 5 prop gloves. I'm in plus a few millions (that includes the price of the plan, the material and the crafting price) and also around 50 Euro. My strategy is this: i make around 2 milions per day in AH, I use one million or so to make 5-10 gloves depending on the crafting material price. Usually I loose money a few days in a row, but then I find a 5-6 million item or something like that. You would have to know the prices for all classes in order to stay in plus. Cause if you don't sell the 50k-100k items you will loose the gold.

FYI: You can't expect to make profit from crafting 10-20 items, you will have to invest far more in this!

Vote Yes for this. If you ask me they could add another one, to make it 5.
Function over form as someone stated! FTW!

Edit: Maybe post this on the D3 official site. It seams that there are a lot more people posting there. Maybe we could get more attention with this.

posted a message on Is crafting Exalted items worth it?
I tried crafting fine exalted items. It has been working nice so far for me. What you have to understand is that you cant expect to fing something if you craft 5 items, and especially you can't say its not working while only trying to do some small amount. You would have to craft a hell of a lot more. My experience is the following: out of about 80-100 items I made around 50 Euro and I'm in a plus for about 5 millions, that includes the cost of the PLAN, crafting material and crafting price of the item. Although in the last 20 attempts I got nothing worth more than 50k gold.

In order to make gold you would have to know the prices for all the stats and sell even the crapy ones. ;)

posted a message on Why are my items dissapeering???
What puzzles me the most is why in the hell would you leave your items on the floor?!? Just drop the shity ones and pickup the rares. I always do that, then go back and pickup the rest ASAP. Do not go killing mobs etc...

I'd say you brought this one on your own :(

posted a message on Is this spear good for a PD WD?
Hi, I'm currently using 1145 blue weapon 1.4 AS. And its doing fine for me. As for the int part, just stack it on other items. Also a great deal of my dps is coming from off-hand (92-385) You should go for int here. Also get it on all items you can as much as you can. With 1.90 Attacks per second and no crit dmg increase (although I have some crit chance) I have around 56k DPS, and I'm doing act 3 for a while.

If you are looking for a weapon to get you through ACT3 an 4 you can use this one. I tend not to worry about int on my weapon, get it if you can but more pure dmg on weapon is better than int. And you can easily stack int on other items. If you can afford a weapon with soc place life per hit, but this would get you through ACT3 for sure with enough int.

An end game would have int and life per hit and a great dmg, but this is fine for now. Hope it helps you.

It is not a nerf it is a buff. To clarify. You have probably miss-understood what the intent of this was.
They wanted to force people to farm rare/magic packs and not bosses. How did they do that?
Bosses had guaranteed 2(that does not mean only 2, but at least 2) rares, and magic/rare packs had guaranteed none, which means that at 5 NV you could get only magic/white items. The way it is going to be now is : you will with 5 NV always get at least 1 rare and maybe more.
This way it will be more rewarding to farm rares/magic than the bosses, since you can find them more often. Provided you can kill them :)
