Sixen I know now that its money if you make enough to have my threads deleted in less that 15 min then its not nard to figure out just wanted to say that I think your a Blizzard bitch and evryone should know it!
I know this horse has been beaten to death, grounded then made into hamburgers... but one thing still bothers me.
Was the removal of skill points really the only solution to the "respecing into one skill" issue?
I watched the video interview with jay wilson and really, the only issue seems to be controlling the pace of how fast the next tier skill can receive points. His example was a wizard taking pts out of magic missle, and pumping up arcane orb, and they didn't want something like that. All blizzard has to do is make sure that each increment for the tiers require that you have a certain level above that tier's unlock.
Example: lets say unlocking tier 2 was level 6 (too lazy to look up exact numbers) you now have access to tier 2 skills, however, at level 6 you may only put 1 point into it. When you're level 7 you can put your next point etc. This mechanic could be applied to any skill and include any increment.
Pros: (i'm biased or whatever but feel free to put a rebuttal)
+CHOICE, you now get to CHOOSE what to focus on, what to CUSTOMIZE your character with without relying completely on items.
+Provides even pacing for skill upgrades.
+Gives a real reason to strive for levels past 30
+Allows room for more testing
Cons:
-You now have to think about how you want to make your character >_>
-Takes away from the hack and slash of the game when you have to stop and put in a point...?
-Makes your character less item driven
-Can make you click 20+ times when you respec
At this point I don't expect blizzard to do anything or change anything. Unless they have miracle workers, they won't have enough time for balancing if they wanted to make 2011 release.
For the record, I'm all for unlocking active skill slots. I'd prefer 7 > 6 skill slots (choosing 7 out of 20-25 seems hard enough...)
Also I'm not sure why trait points were even removed... was there a reason? I missed it.

his con can be mitigated if they have better UI. List all skill icons in a new window, with however many 'o' in a row under them each 'o' is a skill point, they progress from left to right.
ls will display 5
x's represent how many points
you click on the fifth o starting on the left to put in 5 points (will show that the o is colored "x"), into a skill. if you click the last 'o' then you put in 15, press confirm at bottom right window to finalize. all those skills can be listed in a separate window.

Well, he gets invited to press events... Flux, for example, has a more abrasive outlook (from Blizzard's point of view) and that's probably why he doesn't get invited to press events.
I'd probably say Blizzard's crap doesn't stink too, if it meant getting to go to these awesome events.

Where they let their most HC fans down I would hardly call that awsome and personaly I think Sixen is a sellout!

You have never fought on any part of the fan for D3 that I have seen, yea I saw u question JW a bit but after the question you take the answer like its law and that he cannot be wrong, this could be 2 things, cash or your just blind I dont know what to think.
Blizzard has ruined this game but as allways I except you to keep on giving them the thumbs up!
Dont give me talking points, Give me real points of argument tell me WHY.
1) no skill points
2) no trait points (ok 3 passives WTF?)
3) no competitive PvP
4) RMAH so that Blizzard can gain the money little Joe talk his mother into letting him spend do he can keep up in D3.
I have not heard you say 1 time that this game has gone completly casual even tho you know it has!
