Well you should find out what 'bad taste' means. When you are a part of an extreme minority who dislikes something and the rest of us appreciate it and like it, you are the one who has a 'bad taste'.Screaming names in final sequencies is kinda of a prove that you use 60 years old cliches and have bad taste.
Wow, ok. So according to you, Lady Gaga is good tste, Mozart is bad taste. Since, well, people who like Mozart are a minority compared to gaga. Oh wow.
Why is this thread turning into a flamefest? There are people who like the intro, there are people who don't like much. And it is their opinion. Why are people trying to impose their own taste on others? Wtf is wrong with you? I even said that IN MY HONEST OPINION and from MY PERSPECTIVE (having played beta) it was an underwhelming intro. And at least two crusaders of the good taste proceeded to tell me how I can't have my own opinion on the intro.
Sup, people? -

Jul 4, 2011Darqube posted a message on The Future of Item SellingThere will undoubtedly be micro-transactions in D3, there are just too many indications of that around the internet. And by that I mean confirmed info, not some silly fansite rumours ("We are going to monetize features so that we get to make them," said Wilson. "We kind of have to." - said back in 2008 IIRC). Also, the custom map market in SC2 is almost complete, it should go live very soon.Posted in: News
Considering all this. I really think that there will be some kind of a shop in D3 where one will be able to spend real money for electronic goods in D3. Looking at WoW and SC2, there could be vanity items shop (non-combat familiars, dyes, glows, taunts, emotes), there could be applications for iPhones and stuff like that, maybe even remote Auction House like there is one in WoW. Personally. I don't like any of this, if it was up to me, I wouldn't put anything of this in the game. But I'm afraid some of this stuff will be part of D3, whether we like it or not. -
Jul 2, 2011Darqube posted a message on The Future of Item SellingI voted vanity items, but only for PvP. Like someone said, special taunt when you win and stuff like that. Nothing more. There is absolutely no reason or the need for stores. The only thing necessary to acquire gear in D3 has to be time and skill.Posted in: News

Meteorb v3. Basically, it's an all-around build, relying on heavy nuking from afar with the aid of Slow time and Teleport. Aimed for pre-inferno and early inferno for grinding better gear.

This is basically WoW model of leveling and char customisation. 'Mandatory' level cap, auto-stats, auto-skills and now auto-runes, which are essentially the same as glyphs in WoW that require no effort to obtain. This new rune system seems better than the last one, but the last one wasn't very good to begin with. I was happy to hear they were changing it, but I don't know if going to WoW glyph model is the best way.
This leaves a huge strain on items, gems and crafting design. A lot of analysing needs to be done. Let's hope it'll work out.

A bit OT, but isn't PvE wow term? It used to be PvM when I played D2.

Why do you come on forums if you don't intend to read even the OP?
On topic: There's a lot of audience that got super-hyped and I guess they're now letting their frustration out by bashing blizz and d3. Nonetheless, those people will be in line waiting for the stores to open on the day d3 gets released!
