This is not specifically related to hardcore but an idea that came to me that would be cool to see in game is faster gem leveling. For example the percentage should scale above 100% so that you might get more than one level. That way if you complete a rift level 60 and pick a level 1 gem you might get 2 or 3 levels instead of just 1

Bagstone posted a message on 2.4.2 PTR Difficulty OverviewPosted in: Diablo III General DiscussionHUGE UPDATE: PTR 2.4.2 changes!
=> http://d3resource.com/difficulties/ <=
- The monster HP and damage increase is a pretty stable increase (and values up to TX haven't changed on PTR, I checked that). I extrapolated those values and also cross-checked with Ghom T10-T13 values on PTR (for HP). I've rounded up the last few digits for HP as that's an estimate; I'm sure Blizzard will update the Game Guide when the patch is out. The damage increase is a very straightforward progression and therefore those values are pretty much correct down to the last digit, I assume.
- XP/gold changes are taken from in-game tool tips on the difficulty selection screen.
- Legendary drop rates have never been confirmed for T7+ (Wyatt once posted them for up to T6), but no one ever complained and they "feel about right". Again, the increase from T1 to T6 followed a steady formula, so I just extrapolated up to T13.
- Death's Breaths: I did some runs and also watched some videos, and also checked lower difficulties (99% sure those are unchanged). T13 seems to have guaranteed 2 DB drops and a chance for 3rd, from my testing 25% looked about right and also makes sense in terms of the other values. But it could also be anything between 15% and 50%. More data welcome.
- Bounty cache mats is confirmed by multiple posts on the PTR forums.
- GR keys is hard to tell, as the patch notes are relatively vague and it needs a TON of data to test this for every difficulty. If you look at the wording the scaling I assumed makes most sense (10% increase per difficulty). But this is where we need most data!
- Keywarden machine drop - again, interpreting the patch notes this was the only progression that made sense in my opinion. But if anyone wants to go through the effort to do a large sample of keywardens to confirm/update this data, you're welcome.
- I have no idea about the horadric cache legendaries. Honestly, I myself don't have the time to run dozen of bounties on T11-T13...
- Ubers (update): Did a few T13 runs and got 3 organs every time. This has to be a joke... Realm of Fright on T13 ain't no joke (it feels like fighting 3 GR80 rift guardians), it should reward at least 5 mats.
TL;DR: Most data is extrapolated or "patch note interpretation" and probably pretty accurate. Need data on GR keys, machine/organ drops, cache legendaries.
Want to help out? Please consider logging your PTR drop rates and submit your data here:

Tagger posted a message on Diablo 4 wishlistPosted in: Diablo III General DiscussionI would be happy, if it just remained similar to what D3 is today, with a few tweaks here and there (Paragons mostly..).
The only big thing I would want in D4, would be a complete engine and server structure change.
The engine used in D3 is not doing well. It did okay at launch, but with more and more stuff added, along with effects; it's going in the shitter..
The servers needs massive amounts of love. They were not prepared (no pun intended) for the 'always-online'-movement, they sparked life into again, with this game. They still aren't up for it, when 'shit hits the fan', in terms of users and new additions to the game.
D4 'just' needs a new engine and server structure (compared to D3) - then I'm pretty much good with what we got already. -

Bagstone posted a message on PTR 2.4.2: "Twisters will now despawn if they stop moving".Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionAT LAST!
They finally fixed it. No more sticky Twisters. Rejoice everyone!
Full patch notes for current PTR patch: http://www.diablofans.com/blizz-tracker/topic/62657-patch-2-4-2-ptr-patch-notes
And the exact quote that matters:
- Twisters (excluding those created with the Wicked Wind rune) will now despawn if they stop moving
- This applies only to the PC/Mac version
No other changes really, but it'll be interesting to see what becomes the top DPS group now. I personally think it's gonna be an interesting battle between HT Garg WD, generator monk, and Archon wizard. Maybe those three +x?

TrueColdkil posted a message on Your class in season 7?Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionI play one class per season since i do the journey only. This time is the Barb turn (i did a double crusader as i barely dented s2 due to internet issues), but i really want to try my FB Wiz build.
ALso, Barb gets Wastes which is like its name - waste - so i'd have to gather either Raekor or MotE to do serious play.

I was this way as well, happy about WotW being our free set. Then I played the set on PTR and realized just how epically bad it is and I lost all interest. That being said, I have yet to actually piece together a full LoN - Frenzy build in season yet, so I think I might main Barb just to get a jump start on that gear, as I really want to see just to what limit the LoN - Frenzy build can push.Quote from Enslaved2184»
As usual, I will play all classes and Barb will be my main. Kinda happy about WotW set being free in season 7, since I haven't played it in a while. Also, despite the fact that HC won't be a requirement for guardian title in s7, I will level one HC barb just for the sake of doing it.

Found like 30 so far. Missed about 10 or so. Guys, just go do some bounties. You will find goblins along the way.

Maybe being guardian ain't super duper hyper giga sega mega achievement anymore, but since so many players were runting against seasons and said they want to play just until stash tab, maybe this way they will invest 2 more h to get to guardian achievement. Also, those who hunt for top or any leaderboard positions still need to play a lot to achieve that.
And please, i beg all of you, no more "D3 is dying" crap. Stating the obvious or simply lamenting over the diminishing interest in the game ain't gonna help at all. Just be real, so many games went out, ppl can't play all of them at the same time. Half of my friend list is always on WoW, some 10 ppl do not even log out from Overwatch, and still I have no problem to find groups for grifts, bounties, t10 key spam and so on. Until Blizzcon we won't be able to know for sure is D3 shunned or will it be revitalized by some new DLC or something.

I never ever used even numlock, but I guess that is not bannable anyways, or quinn would be banned 1st. He even made a video how to use that lol.

This thread is scaring me lol. What if I am the next to be banned for no reason?

Diablo is dead, I killed it in Act IV.

1. Didn't compare game to ISIS, just compared what @udomsa33 said about us being unable to change anything should make us happy or something.
2. I know Blizzard is not focusing on giggle but I fail to see why are we informed about this topic right now. 2 seasons of twisters, man, noone is quite happy about that, right?
1
So, based on that logic, we should be happy about ISIS since we can't change it. Look, another 25 civilians burned alive in cages! Let's giggle together, my friend!
