I think its going to be some kind of summoner character with elemental based attacks, but most likely will NOT be the druid (although he was my favorite).

I think some kind of ship captain/sailor who can control wind/water and summon sea creatures from the depths would be pretty cool, a diablo 3 version of the druid pretty much

Obviously this is all speculation, but i think the first month or so the order of popularity will be: Barb, DH, Wiz, Monk, WD.

But then after the game is out for a bit and people get a chance to play awhile i think that will change to: Monk, Wiz, WD, DH, Barb

1: "'Cause if you liked it then you should have put a ring on it...'"

2: "Who ate my fish?!"

3: "Don't make me take my hat off!"

4: "I TOLD you not to get an above ground pool!"

Surprised no one has mentioned the Flying Spaghetti Monster yet hehe.... But anyways here is my own view on how to prove my God(s) exists... hope i can get a point across.

I interpret my own universe (i.e. through my senses, interacting with others and the environment), just as i assume everyone else interprets their own. If i didn't do this, my universe would not exist. Therefore I am god of my own universe just as you are all the gods of your own. I believe I exist, because if I didn't, then nothing else would exist either.

Now , just because I am God of my universe does NOT mean I am in complete control of it. This can also be applied to any major deity from any religion. I see everything that goes on in my universe; if something were to exist outside of my universe of perceptions, it really doesn't exist then. If there was a 'higher power/intelligence/god' that created everything (which is only possible because I allow the idea of it into being - more evidence that I am my own god), it also does not control what it has created. I believe there are other gods as well, imaginary or real doesn't matter its only a concept either way, but they are not me so they are not my god(s).

So, I know that I exist within my universe, and I am god, and the fact that you are reading this means you believe I exist in some form or another in your universe as well. I am god and I exist, and you can't prove I don't exist without proving your own nonexistence as well. But like you said, its not anyone's job - atheist or otherwise - to prove non-existence here.

We still dont know what it takes to make a higher lvl gem, it might be different from D2. I just thought of this: to get a higher lvl gem you might not even need more than one gem to get the next higher level. You might be required to have a chipped gem and maybe some of the raw material created from the nephalem cube to make a flawed (given to the jeweler of course).

Has Blizzard commented on how many gems are needed to create one of the next level? Because with 14 levels it would make way too much sense if it only takes 2 gems to make a higher quality one. Which would drastically reduce the number you would need to get the highest level. Instead of 19,683 gems (using 3 to get one), would instead be 512(using 2) which is still a lot but MUCH more manageable. I voted for having the long term goal, but 20,000 seems to much.
