I actually like they idea that you can loot over time. We could even bring it a step further.
They could add a special event in the game where you randomly encounter a corpse of a fallen warrior. That fallen warrior can be a random dead HC char and you can loot one random item from what he was wearing during is travels.
On his history page you then can see who you made happy with your gear. Not sure it's really doable but it might add some flavor to the game, and let you remember that living in the Diablo Universe is a hard life
I have the same feeling, I believe discipline will start to shine once you hit higher difficulties. It would be great if at some point in the beta you can have a higher difficulty to test those. But I guess we have to wait until release for that
While everybody here get very excited about hoping to participate, I'm starting to feel very scared that I won't make the cut. I'm saving all my vacation days, hoping to get in and satisfy my 8 year hunger for this game.

I really like the idea of an Armory where you can share your char's progress with public/or just friends. I remember discussing endless hours on builds and ideas with friends back in our D2 days.
Time is changed since then and we now have a world with smartphones and internet access all over the globe. I'm embracing this new technology and I think it would be a fun way to share my advancements with my friends this way.
But since not everyone has the same thought on this subject a toggle would be ideal. maybe you could filter it down to allow only access to those within your friend list.
I never played many games in my life, but for some reason I came across Diablo 2, and since that very day my life turned to ****.
Every moment I could spare I played this game, I was at highschool at that time and I didn't care for homework much. Collecting unique loot, now that was what life was all about. At school I knew a couple of hardcore players and every spare minute we talked about builds and how to team up for hell.
during the weekends when I wasn't playing I was hanging around with some guys talking about ... Diablo. We played on new year's eve just to see if nothing special would drop and later on we would go to a party and we kept of dreaming and talking about unique items we wanted to have.
Diablo took several girlfriends and a couple of years of school from me. I've lost so much to this game and the only thing I can think of is " When will they release D3"
PvP never was my thing in any game. But I will give it a try in D3. I really like to see a free for all option an no potions allowed. The world of Diablo is a harsh world, why should an arena be any different?
