To those probably wondering about the console release date. I believe it was mentioned that the P.C release date and production would not be effected what-so-ever by the console development or release date. Apologies that I don't have any solid evidence of this but I do recall reading a thread about it a few months ago and this being mentioned by a blue.
EDIT: Sorry, had a word in there that didn't belong!
A lot of people may be hoping for a release date, a beta invite, or an announcement they're having 50% off all Diablo items on the blizzard store. I am no exception to these people.
I'm playing through Oblivion right now, and there's actually a place in...Bruma? Ya. In Bruma, there's a place called Olaf's where you can meet a character by that name.
-facepalm- =P
but yes, oblivion is indeed great, there are a few things I wish they would keep from morrowind. I would recommend if you really do enjoy oblivion, and dont mind "reading" to get morrowind next, its what truely set the elder scrolls on the path it is today.
Morrowind was one of the best Elder Scrolls game. I'm glad they included some stuff from Morrowind into Skyrim. I loved Oblivion but I loved Morrowind more because it didn't hold your hand at all. Oblivion tended to hold your hand with nearly everything :(.
From the people that I've tried to get into Morrowind, they hate it because 'having to walk everywhere is bullshit!' putting fast travel into Oblivion and Skyrim just made it less fun and challenging :(.
My only beef is the first person style on a RPG, it just makes the combat look so stupid. Swinging a sword never looked so dumb!!!
I respect your opinion on Bethesda using the first-person view for the game, they also have a third-person option for those with opinions such as yours.
The first-person view of it has worked throughout out all of the other Elder Scrolls games and it works in this one.
I've been in love with the Diablo franchise for years upon years, but I just don't think I'm willing to pay cash to 'get that chest-piece'. That and I'm too used to the habit of farming my items
