In my opinion if you know what you want to play then you can farm up the set you want to use, unless you already have it (then get ancient armor). It can not hurt to farm mats to upgrade rares to get the new weapons in 2.4 since I do believe those will not change when the patch hits if you already have one in your stash. Level up legendary gems to use for stat enchant. That's about all I can think of right now, hope this helps!

They hotfixed the damage rolls affecting thorns, so it does work now.. I just finished testing it on the PTR with CoE ring.
