posted a message on Happy with 4 player co-op?
I think anything over 4 would probably be too much. Blizzard stated before that the reason they went with 4 was because they didn't want there to be so many spells going off at the same time that it made it hard to see what was going on. Personally, I never played Diablo 2 with more than 4 people usually. Too much stuff going on. It doesn't make you feel like your character is powerful when there's 7 people all blowing up the same mob.

This kind of contest is pretty perverse tbh.

It's just that feeling where your hand is so close you can almost touch it, and then it gets yanked away. I don't even want to do anything for the rest of the day now. I'm literally depressed about it.

Well to begin with you shouldn't get into contests that requires you to sit there waiting for a question and then rushing to it. It creates too much tension and overall is a big waste of time. Go for random contests, do them and then forget about it and go do something interesting instead. Well that's my advice :P Beta is just a tease anyway you will then want the game so much more the situation is not better : )

I'm in every single contest the posted anyways. I have a better chance at winning a contest through typing speed than I do luck. I know it's cliche to say "I've never won anything in my life", but it's true. I don't want into the beta as a "tease" or to demo the game. I want in because I want to give feedback related to game. I see the changes they make on the game, and I disagree with some. I would like to be able to voice my first hand opinion on the beta. I can't do that without being in the beta.

I played Diablo and D2 when they came out release days. I want D3 to be the best game it can be because my memories of the other two are so great.

That's a link to the twitter contest that just ran. See the guy between 3 and 4. Yeah, that's me. The biggest idiot in the world. I remember when the Monk class was announced, and I immediately said that's the class I'm playing first. Look at the part of the answer that's wrong. Yep, it was the part related to the monk. Instead of Spirit, I went and said holy. I can't tell you what possessed me to say it. I guess when I started typing the answer out "Holy Spirit" went through my head.

I want to cry right now really...

Sorry for the QQ, but I just wanted to vent it. I knew I typed it all out extremely fast, but as soon as the tweet left, I knew something was wrong.

posted a message on i give up on these beta giveaways
The contests aren't really designed for people that have a life, have to work all day, or have kids. My job doesn't allow me to sit and stare at a twitter page, facebook page, or my phone waiting to type in an answer. I wouldn't say it isn't fair, but I'm most likely not getting a key. If I could shut everyone and everything out just to focus on these contests, I probably would lol. I would also probably go insane. I think the worst thing though is that I saw someone mention winning a key from both Forcestrategy and D3DB. Some people are just lucky I guess.

posted a message on You play for the lore or for the action?
I find myself drawn to the gameplay of Diablo more than the lore. However, I do like spending time reading backgrounds of characters and locations when I'm not playing and at work etc. The lore is very interesting, but it isn't what I log on for long after beating the game.

posted a message on Where do I post my character build for a chance to win a key?
I don't think they are planning to open up the build contest until after the other contests finish. It actually says on the front page now that the contest is not yet open. It wasn't made clear at the start though.

posted a message on You know that feeling..
Refreshing the twitter page and the question comes up. I type it in extremely face feeling extremely confident. Heart skips a beat. The tweet comes up announcing the winners and I wasn't in it. I tweeted at the same time as all the winners, but I guess mine just didn't get there out of 5. I wish I knew how close I was...

posted a message on New class in D3 expansion !
    Quote from nshobot

    Hi everyone,

i know this is early (since D3 will be out "soon") but i want to ask community
what class do you expect or wish to see in expansion. Do you think Blizzard will
put some old class from D1 or D2 or something completely different ???

I personally would like to see necromancer again since that is my favorite from D2 !

Looking forward to see what do you think....

Not trying to discourage you or anything, but I doubt the necromancer would be the first expansion character. Unless they change the necromancer to more bone and spirit spells rather than summoning, he conflicts too much with the Witch Doctor. Bone necro was my favorite though so if they gave him more of those kind of spells I would be extremely happy to play him. Also, bring back blood spells.

posted a message on Oh Diablo 3 where art thou?
Why do I love Diablo? Stay a while and listen...

The day was December 31, 1996. Clouds began to darken overhead, rain began to pour, the wind blew violently, and lightning arced across the sky. Moments later the earth erupted in fire and brimstone. A large crack split the ground open with flames spewing everywhere. Diablo was born this day. I arrived soon after in Tristram. Immediately, I found myself traversing the Cathedral destroying a man only known as the butcher and the once great King Leoric. Eventually with my Apocalypse spellbook in hand, I made it to Diablo. After a long fought battle, I defeated the Lord of Terror himself. Today was a day to rejoice in Tristram... that was until I slammed the accursed Soulstone into my forehead...

I wandered for years unable to control the urges to sow terror across the land. I resisted for what seemed to be thousands of years, but I eventually succumbed to the Lord of Terror. June 29, 2000... the day I completely lost my soul. Possessed by Diablo, I no longer was able to control my actions. I failed to defeat him. I would go on to wreak havoc upon the lands of Sanctuary in search of my brothers Mephisto and Baal. Not only did I find them, but I succeeded in setting them free. It wasn't long before the people of Sanctuary caught up to us. The battles that took place were grand, but in the end we, the Prime Evils, were defeated once more.

We may have been defeated, but Baal succeeded in corrupting the worldstone. Tyrael, the fool, has no idea what he's done...

<3 Diablo for real. I want to test not play. Playing comes after release and play I shall. I still play Diablo 2 to this day waiting. Random post because I have nothing better to do...

posted a message on Rare and Champion Loot > Boss Loot
Personally, I think it's a good thing and bad thing. The good part of it is that you can play through the game and get drops. The bad part of it is that fighting the bosses is actually less effective because they are typically more difficult. However, you have to find champion and unique mobs whereas Bosses are always in the same place.

I think overall it's a good change because now I don't have to run a single boss over and over. I can play though the whole thing without thinking I'm wasting time I could be spending farming bosses.
