Don't count on that, Eldius. I think when it comes down to it, if those games work really well on console and are exceptional games up to Blizzard's standard, then they will be released for console, as they should be if they are great games. That's how the world works.

Exactly! You tell these experience worrymongers. They have nothing to fear as long as they are staying in the action. Besides, has anyone thought of actually telling your party to wait a bit while you rearrange your inventory and pick up new gear?

It seems like every little thing that is released or that is a new idea generated , or even someone wondering if this and this will be in Diablo 3, makes such an uproar with fans on this site.

Yeah it is fine. If someone is not doing anything and just staying in that radius, then there should be some option to kick him/her or leave.

Stop panicking over losing experience, its not that big a deal. If you miss 4 mob kills or max 10 cause you are looking at an item or two, it isnt the end of the world.

Yeah definitely, there are more issues to this than whether or not you are helping the party or not by being two screens away.
Personally I like the idea of only getting exp if you are in that radius and attacking monsters. There aren't going to be any healer only classes so i think it would go well for Diablo 3 if they chose that option.

I don't care how many copies you bought of diablo, diablo 2 and diablo 2 expansion. To say that is plain ignorance. And I mean, Plain ignorance.
Why you ask?
WoW is a game. Ok no difference between Diablo right? WoW has fans, just like Diablo right?
But UNLIKE diablo, WoW generates over $15 dollars a month from over 5 million users. Unless 5,000,000 Diablo fans are buying a copy of Diablo every month(which is absurd and is not happening) then WoW will ALWAYS generate more money. End of discussion.
Now unfortunately for you, a WoW hater, someone who probably hasn't even played that game, they will implement SOME of the working and cool ideas which allow for more customization. Will this wreck Diablo? To you it will. For everyone else... well its just obvious.

I guess it could be a possibility. But I doubt it. I think they will stick with a more medieval kind of time period, meaning swords, bows and arrows. I mean, look at the monk class. He basically fights with his own hands.

If they threw in a GUN hero, that'd be going against a lot of the whole time period of Diablo, and be going along the same lines as Nazi Zombies in Call of Duty.

For the optimist above thinking it will come out in 2009... No offense, but have you read anything at all? The Battlenet is not finished, and Starcraft 2 is supposed to be released before Diablo 3, because that was the order of their game. If they were to mess that up, they would have many, many, unhappy fans.

Maybe Warcraft 4 will come out in 2013? lol

Focus idea sounds cool. Maybe they could add a bonus to your focus *energy* when you pull of an effective combo that annihilates the enemies around you.

I don't see the problem here anymore, if there ever was a problem. After the announcement at Blizzcon that they are coming out with a new WoW expansion, you are guranteed not to see Diablo 3 in 2010.

Even if they work on it for everyday with more staff from SC2(really unlikely as the game is said to come out in 2010) they won't get it done. That's just Blizzard folks. Quality games

Well now, I'm surprised. I was like, "WHat??!" But I kind of like the look of the Monk. I like Blizzard, they were fooling everyone who thought the new class to be revealed was going to be the Ranger class.

Guys, seriously. Blizzard is doing the best job of any game company taking into consideration what you have to say. But they will be deterred from listening if all you have to do is whine and complain. Grow up! You don't get everything in life.

Monk not creative enough? Lame? Your entire life is lame. You sit on a computer checking the forum every day for more information on the game that you will buy multiple copies of and play non stop. However, you completely troll, complain, and even THREATEN to not buy the game! Hah. You need to work on your bluffing skills...

All of us will buy the game. It's the best out there. One class won't make that big of a deal. I HIGHLY doubt you will hate all of the classes. And you know what? In the expansion you get TWO more classes.

Yeah, let's do 8 as maximum, but still allow for 1, 2 ,3 ,4 , 5, 6 , 7. Or we could just do like in KillZone 2 with 32 players a game... Ok just kidding.

I'm a Zealot now after 50 posts, but I'm still very new to the site. I haven't played Diablo or Diablo 2 at all, but Diablo 3 looks really cool, and I've always liked those rpg games where you level up. But another cool thing about this game is how fast-paced it is. MMORPGs take forever, and this looks so much cooler with the graphics and the loot, compared to some really crappy looking WoW. But thats what I think anyways.

I'm thinking about getting the BattleChest, but I'm not sure if I could handle the graphics, especially on D1. What do you guys think?

Anyways, I hope to be a contributing voice on this site.
