Yeah, they took i down for some reason. Lets hope we get an expasnion.

I highly doubt when they bring it back , it will show any hints that an expansion is coming.
    Don't get your hopes up.

As for Blizzcon, Do not trust the schedule that was released. Blizzard has always kept new releases under wraps. You think they are going to give away important announcements in a schedule panel? the schedule is not even set is stone.

^this. Man has a point. What is the purpose of Blizzcon itself then to be an event where they do make announcements?
Why have such event anyways if you can just post it on official page, right? :P
Not to mention they just took down the schedule.

posted a message on Crusaders are the worst class?

They can hit high 60 Grifts so they are not a bad class IMO. there are thousands of people playing Crusader that are not into trying to climb leaderboards and just want to have fun. It's a fun class to play. I agree the class needs more balance, but a game like this will have a hard time finding balance. Most people go with flavor of the month classes (season 4 = barb/monk) but that shouldn't deter you from playing what you like. Just have fun playing that game. You can still climb leaderboards and you can still accomplish things with the classes you love.

I'm loving all of this negativity in this thread so far. You realize that RoS wasn't announced at BlizzCon yes? So they don't reveal an expansion at BlizzCon, there are several other gaming expos that they could announce an expansion during. I mean we already know that they brought in new people for a Diablo franchise project.

People just want to know what the next expansion is. RoS was announced in August 2013, released in March 2014. That means the time frame puts it so the next expansion will have been released more then 2 years after the previous one. That's quite a long time, even with seasons and patches adding content.
Adding the Cube was a genius move, but it did not alter the content we are playing itself, nor the classes we are playing with. There's only so much repeating the current content you can do before it gets stale. I'm guessing judging by the reactions that for many people that time has just about come. We need a major shake up, which an expansion would provide. Adding a whole new act and a new class would begin a new age of replayability for many people.
So it's perfectly understandable people are upset that there's apparently no announcements yet, at a time that seemed perfect to make one. It's just disappointment. :)
I don't understand this. This game is not WoW. It can't and won't pump out content like WoW. Diablo makes no where near the amount of money WoW does. I don't have a source but Devs have talked about this before.
As for a new expansion, it would be great but it's not needed for this game to thrive right now. This game is about min maxing gear. Anyone who played diablo 2 had to deal with the same content for a very long time. Not many changes were made and balancing never was right until about 1.0.9.
As for Blizzcon, Do not trust the schedule that was released. Blizzard has always kept new releases under wraps. You think they are going to give away important announcements in a schedule panel? the schedule is not even set is stone.

X-Pac or not, the main problem still exists !
a few weeks into every new Season and it is boring again, we need some good end game alternatives

I am still having fun with the current season. There are a lot more things to do this season than the last.
There is still a competition for leaderboard spots and coming in a month or so they will open the PTR again for the new patch.
My guess is there are a lot of people who try to go hard at the very beginning trying to keep up with the leaderboards and get burnt out. It takes a special kind of person to compete for first. I would suggest either playing Normal or taking it easy in the season. There is tons of gear and ancients to find.

What's with all the negativity? Why does this game need an expansion for it to thrive? Each patch they add more and more content. If you are leaving because they are not announcing anything at blizzcon I feel bad for you. This game has made massive improvements over the course of RoS.

Calm down and enjoy the damn game.

posted a message on Losing steam for Season 4

It's really all on Blizzard to get rid of snapshotting and gimmicks. Quin69 and a number of other players have made blizzard and the community aware of these problems and they didnt do anything about it.

Fortunately, Diablo 3 has gotten better and better each patch. Keep believing and voicing your opinions and Blizzard will hopefully do the right thing.

Paragon levels having a cap defeats the purpose of having paragon levels. They were a way to slightly improve your character over time to break the monotony and possibly achieve a higher content you wouldn't other wise be able to do on your own.

there are millions of players all out there trying to get on the leader boards and a very select few killing themselves trying to get to the top. If you feel like you are going to top these people somehow if there is a cap, you will be disappointed. This is there life, they will do anything and everything to make sure they are on top. each season will show that these same people will always be on the top. They have dedicated themselves to the game. you see it at every competitive event.

posted a message on Get rid of seasons

It's clear by OP's own admission that everyone plays seasons. That would mean there is a reason to keep it around. If you don't like seasons you are probably playing the wrong game IMO.

There is some hope; usually near the end of the season, A lot of players tend to congregate back to the NS to test out new builds. Although this is probably going to happen less as blizzard and the community want to see more out of seasons. Journey quests are just the start.
