    Be ready for a ladder reset for patch 1.13 that might happen as soon as end of April they said...

    They also stated that they stopped working on it for a little while but now they are back on it and the changes they made required alot of testing. I don't remember where I read that though, so no exact dates.

    What's taking so long to balance? New boss/area? New skills mechanics? Removed hell immunities? All of those? We all know that in a game where there is pvp and pvm, changing something on a character can take lots of time to balance between both aspects, so I guess they're changing something on characters too.

    Maybe it's a problem somewhere, battle.net 2.0?

    Very curious about the patch notes, we'll probably get some feedback at blizzcon.

    For the skills, I wouldn't bother with the current trees. They will change again for sure.

    I agree with the rends, I equiped them for the crushing blow but didn't notice I alse used gores.
    As fore the second weapon, I think Last Wish would be a better choice as Tkrow21 stated. The aura is a nice dmg boost.

    I've been playing singleplayer for a while, since I can't find my CD key, and it's a whole different experience. It's more challenging too! I'm making my way trough hell with a hammerdin (I know... piece of cake), and I just found a shako on Meph, best drop I got.

    Curious about what are your best finds? Still haven't seen a high rune...

    Seriously, why couldnt Blizzard just shut the f*** up about this patch until a week before release?

    Hahaha that's what they usually do, and that's why they said *maybe*. People usually complains because they never release enough dates...

    Like most of you said, if it requires testing, and lots of testing, there has to be a whole new area, not just a boss. A single boss / event would just require a bit of tweaking.

    I'll take that they removed immunities. That would just be the best thing to do, make a whole lot more builds playable iin hell. It was so freakin annoying to not be able to play your char anywhere unless it's a hammerdin... And now it needs lots of testing, since immunities were a big part of hell's difficulty. Seems logical.

    The melee hitting system is sometimes frustrating...

    It happens quite often that im standing still, bashing the hell out of a monster and it takes like 15 hits before I can even touch it. Quite frustrating.

    Maybe the random number generator? Luck? Bug? Whatever it is, it's just annoying...

    What I think is more important would be that skills are still useful even if they are not maxed.

    Let's take diablo 2 for exemple, there are a few skills that are one point wonders or others where you could invest just a few points (often passives), but when it comes to active skills or damaging attacks, they were almost useless until you maxed them with all their synergies.

    Some people might hate me for that but I will make a quick comparison with WoW. In WoW, you could use an attack that did far less damage than your main attacks just to get the maximum dps possible. In diablo 2, it just felt pointless. Let's say I have a summoner and that I have just enough points left to get like 15 points in poison nova without synergies. Spamming it while my skeletons kill things just didn't make a big enough difference to be worth it...

    The point is, if skills are still usefull with just a few points invested in them, it would make a lot more different viable builds.

    I like te D2 skill tree but found that putting a potential of 20 skill points into one skill is too much. Maybe lower it down to say maybe 10?


    Doesn't mean anything... If they decide to put less points per skill, you will also have less total points to spend logically.

    But I think it's nice to have a lot more passive skills. What I REALLY hope for is the possibility of lots of different (working) builds. I love trying tons of different original builds.

    Fireball sorces are very popular, look on google if you can't find anything here.

    PVP or PVM?
    I think bonemancers damage output is too weak to be good for PVM, though it's still playable.
    I would max out bone spear and synergies for maximum damage but you will be a little weak. Might want to get a golem or revive if you play PVM, else bone armor or some curses might do the job for pvp with lots of points in vita.

    I didn't know that the SW had resists... I thought only the master had them. If she does, then I guess SM is the first choice for the meatshield, as they get same HP.
