Seriously, learn how to play the game by playing through campaign. Dont be in a rush to get to adventure mode. No seasons so no rush..

There are legit players on console, they are just hard to find. If you are on PS4 there are 2-3 legit communities you can join. Sadly, online play is a wasteland. However it still isnt the worst part of playing on console in my opinion. Nephalem Glory Orbs are the biggest issue, once you hit Greater Rift 60+ you will see what I mean.

posted a message on Console vs Custom PC

Personally I am not much on PC gaming, probably because I prefer using a Mac, which we all know is crap for gaming. That being said, you should 100% get a PC over a console for D3.

Reasons Why Console Diablo is the Worst

Modding - The lack of attention paid to modding by blizzard is off-putting. But, they can't actually do anything to prohibit modding and hacking OP weapons. Because of modding, there is 0 reason to ever play a public online game on Diablo. Doing so will result in paragon boosting your character 1000 levels in under 30 seconds.

No Seasons - There is no way to implement seasons on consoles due to the modding and offline play capabilities. Even if we could play seasonal diablo on consoles, models would ruin that experience as well.

Legit Community - Although there are some who play the game as it is intended, finding players who are active gamers is another reason not to get a console version. And if you think they are legit, 9/10 times they have mail duped items or hacked amounts of materials to endlessly reforge legendaries with Kanai's Cube until desired rolls are obtained. There is no way to tell who is doing this either.

The last reason and the biggest reason in my opinion to not get the console version,

Nehalem Glory - Different from PC, NG orbs (double damage) drop after obtaining a kill streak of 15/20/30/40/60/80/100 kills. Once you've gotten to 100 kills orbs will spawn at slower rates 150/200/250/300. Now you may be asking how is double damage a problem? If you use any damage over time gems, effects, skills, passives, they will constantly refresh your kill strings, EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT ATTACKING. Still not convinced NG is a problem? Once you progress past GR 55 solo or 60 in a group, NG hinders your ability to progress any further. Not only do you have to worry about stopping your kill strings once they surpass 100 kills in order to start another kill string to benefit from the NG drops from 0-100 kills, your teammates also must be under the 100 kill count ceiling as well. Now, that can be mitigated by using a mic and headphones to tell your party to stop killing things to stop kill strings, but in my experience, over half the people who play on consoles choose not to use headsets (which makes no sense because the console comes with one). Still not convinced? Add in your groups usage of DOT skills and gems, and kill strings never reset. While there are skepticisms about if it truly is double damage, the fact that it is in the game is a problem. Blizzard and many others suggest that PC and Console monster HP is identical. If that were the case, with the addition of NG double damage, console players should be able to exceed PC GR levels easily. However that is not the case, whether it is due to monster health being doubled on console, or monster health being identical to PC there is an issue. Some believe monster health is doubled and others believe that it is identical across both platforms, however console damage output is halved initially, and the addition of NG double damage puts you at normal PC damage. Now there is no way to support either of these claims, other than if the health, gear, and paragon points are identical from PC to Console, the NG buff should mean console players surpass GR levels PC players are unable to hit. Either way, NG is the primary reason why you should NOT get diablo 3 for console. There is nothing being done about it by the devs nor are they even aware it's been a long-standing issue for over 2 years.

I would roll the cooldown to 10%dmg. You dont really need cooldown anymore for IK barb just spend enough fury and cool down your beserker and ancients.

posted a message on 2.1 sets in 2.2, a question.

One set item that comes to mind is the Immortal King Boulder Breaker, I dont think the Call of the Ancients % will update with the patch. You will have to refind it if im not mistaken.
