I would love to see some kind of auction house functionality in-game that is tied together through battle.net. BLizzard, you guys spoiled us with the auction house in World of Warcraft, so I hope you provide some way to implement this in D3.
Secondly, and I know this is a huge unlikely scenario, I would love to see some kind of level editing tools, so that the fan base can make their own dungeons and maps for others to try out. I'm sure there's some kind of scripting language that will be available similar to LUA with WoW, but making full-fledged editors to utilize the power of the API would be outstanding.
