I'm honest to say that I don't see a reason to widescreen not be supported.
As some of here said before, you have a lot of points that give us the hint: sure that will be supported.
1. The video
The people who have watched the movie surely could see that the video was recorded in a Wide resolution.
2. WoW Engine
A lot of foruns are speaking about the "recycling" use of the WoW Engine, so, if this is true, we know... widescreen fully supported.
3. We are in 2008
Any of you guys who lives in somewhere where you received the new about the D3 Announcement surely know that the Wide displays are the top selling.
So, why nuts about this?
(sorry for any misplaced verb or any other bad thing that i've wrote, this is my first post and english is not my main language)
