honestly i'm annoyed by the complaints about the graphics (lighting or otherwise) look at all of blizzards games. all of them have that "Cartoonish" feel, why would they change it up for diablo?
GW ended to fast, leveling wise. WAY TO FAST. In less then a day. Then when yuo go PvP, in the past, you would face KOREANS. They win....EVERY TIME.
that depends on what version you played. people complained that prophecies leveled way too slow, so the drastically sped it up in night fall and factions
Bah, too many people bash Spreadsheets Online without playing it.
It's actually a really good MMO if you just follow the tutorial and don't head into 0.0 space in your starter frigate thinking lol pirates!
Oops i learned my lesson when i lost a rifter and a stabber int eh same day simply trying to get from one place to another. (still low lvl skills, got trapped at a jump)
no, you are not required to party in GW...the game was designed that way. every quest is solo-able though some would strongly suggest you get a party simply because it's too challenging to complete alone (GAURANTEE WoW is the same way...)
edit: not to mention GW help build it's community in this way by having players work together to achieve a common goal.
and the level cap doesn't make a difference, honestly the lvl 20 cap in GW makes it more fun, forcing you into a challenge obviously not presented in WoW
if u want a very popular MMORPG that really does NOT follow a story line, look at EVE, totally different gameplay, but it's just an example.
GW imo is a whole new game in it's own right and SHOULDN'T be compared to any other. The ONLY game that can come close (if that) in comparison would be WoW.
as for the story line post above: GW for example is an amazing balance of those 2 types of people. Plenty of action and a VERY in depth story line. and i'm hoping D3 will be more geared this way (balanced gameplay, aka if u want action go play a shooter, if u want story go read a book)
I actually find it very interesting, much more fun to play than WoW which is hardly comparable imo. EVE looks to be the ONLY game i'm ever going to plan on "Paying to Play" simply because i'm loving the gameplay style and the challenge the game presents. Imo, games like WoW are just grind fests. No fun at all.
I've been playing Guild Wars since the public beta. I'll agree to disagree, and the fact that you have an opinion of one game over another that hasn't even been released yet tells me some things about you. No offense intended.
Zomg, I just had a sick vision, imagine Diablo 3 Clan wars like we would go on a server and it would be 2 clans just battling it out on a map. It could add a whole new PvP aspect to the game as far as bringing Multiplayer PvP.
Imagine having all your guild mates on vent and your talking about the battle and stuff, screaming out commands etc.
What if we could bring more then 2 clans into the battle? maybe 3 or 4 so it would be an all out war! People could have tournaments and that type of stuff, their could be a ladder or something.

What i'm saying is, blizzards game in general do not have a very realistic lighting experience, so why would they change it up for one game.
edit: which seems to be what all the fuss is about

More reference to the lighting which isn't very "realistic"
