Having a finishing move would mean watching your mobs health and eagerly watch for the health to drop so you can use a killer skill/spell to kill in an elite way - spreading blood all over the screen. So yes, it would be nice to have.
At the end of the day - Sanctuary has a moon..... end of story. Ok so it might look the same. The one thing to remember is Blizzard havent finish the game yet, so it may be changed at the last minute. I like moons in games - at night when there is little other lights around - you can count on the moon to light your way - or hide it depending on the shadow created.
Just a thought.... the evils needed the soulstones to stay on sanctuary. Tyrael said during D2 that he cant stay on sanctuary because his powers would weaken. So with the soul stones being destroyed - would this not just be banishing the demons back to hell??
If this is the case, then with the world stone destroyed now - the evils can now walk on sanctuary and not worry about losing their power.
From what i have understood - Tyrael couldnt stay on Sanctuary too long as hes powers would weaken - this was due to the worldstone. So if this true in some aspect, this would be why the Prime Evils used soulstones to stay longer on Sanctury. This would mean that the soulstones were used to stay longer. So when Mephisto and Diablo were only banished back to Hell and not in fact destroyed.
Now with the worldstone destroyed, the hordes of Hell can now invade Sanctury and hold all their strength.
Meanwhile, the thought of tyrael of being corrupted could be the other half of the story. With either Heaven trying to save Tyrael, or they need to destroy him.
