I think this is the right forum category. For my final project in a class I produced a very short Diablo spoof of sorts. It has Sean Connery announcing the newest playable character for D3--Deckard Cain. Let me know what I can improve upon, I'd like to possibly make more related Flash animations. Thanks.

Has anyone else seen the current version? It's overwhelmingly awesome--great cast, amazing cinematography, intense story line, and low on the deus ex machina use of mumbo jumbo sciency explanations. It's most definitely an up-grade from the 70s tv show. I highly encourage it to all, not just sci-fi fans.

For trading, I'd like to see the item in question before entering a game, such as a picture in the game info. Or even being able to barter and trade an item in a chat would be interesting and perhaps easier. In D2, it became annoying switching characters/mules and games in order to trade a certain item because of the fact Hell characters could only see Hell games and it was typically the Hell char that needed the item that the Normal char had. Perhaps, the games could be divided between trade and playing--and in trade mode there'd be no difficulty setting. As for the currency, in D2 gold became worthless in trade, I'd like to see a better economy system.

For PvP, it'd be awesome if games being created could be sort out between this, trade, and playing. I like the idea of a rank system based upon tournaments as opposed to those who get to lvl 99 the fastest.

The Thing is good choice. Les Diaboliques, The Vanishing... and a pretty recent one, Dead Man's Shoes. All of these have a deep plot which unfortunately most recent horror movies lack--plus the blood & guts you asked for

I wouldn't want a firearm as a weapon... because it's realistic. Today guns are the weapon of choice. But I play Diablo to escape and embark in a world where demons die mercilessly by ways of sorcery and kickass ancient weaponry.

But--I'd still play D3 even if it had guns.

I'd say the next villain will either be the Riddler, Catwoman, or Raz al Gul's daughter... though I think I remember Nolan saying Catwoman won't be in his series, she's been around since the Joker.

I'm not totally sure about Two-Face. There seemed to be a funeral of sorts for him at the end of the movie. But they could have held a fake funeral and hid the real Dent in the Asylum to avoid corrupting the city. It's a damn shame Heath's Joker will never reappear--great Batman villian and probably one of the best movie villians of all time.

I think a grunt and a forceful clench of the fist would work well... especially with "TIME TO DIE!!!"

I concur with those who think the interactive environment is awesome. And character based quests sounds intriguing.

I'm thinking about getting a PS3 for warhawk and FFXIII... plus blu-ray's nice.
